The next day, we took the carriage again to Raumia. However, a sudden interruption of the schedule caused me to involuntarily speak outloud.

"Eh!? Father and mother aren't going as well?!!"

I was having a shock as much as I tried to accept it. After all, it wasn't that long I reunited with my parents!!

"I'm sorry Charl...Unfortunately, we have an order given directly by the King......"

"The situation has been quite worrisome lately... so we have been traveling around the region to help the King. We are very sorry for leaving you so soon, Charlotte......"

Uuuugghhhh...... I really wanted to say something but my tongue was tied at the moment. After all, I heard something disturbing which most likely held a deep relation with me.

I mean... the King my parents mentioned must be the Warrior King--Arthur Fermata Aeinsland. He's the seventh king reigning over the Aeinsland Kingdom famous for governing with iron fist and feudal system. Basically, he got no room to compromise when ruling the lands which were his properties and he let the lands ruled by nobles to develop independently as long as riots won't threaten his reign. Well, that would be the simplest way to describe him but...

He's strong. I often heard Takeru complaining about the behaviors of several people that seemed to bother him for most of the time if not on the past (my parents were, as expected, included in it.) Which meant... the people he mentioned were BAD for me to deal with, for better or for worse. And this Arthur is at the top of the list.

I shuddered when hearing the king had given direct orders to my parents. Because I knew they were very powerful even before they married, it just meant they could never go against the King who was even stronger than them combined together.

So... If the King wanted to settle some disturbances, they must be related to the current problems. One of which was the upheaval in Raumia, or probably the strained relationship with North Territory and South Territory...... or Daemonia's invasion which started five years ago.

In other words, Ivory's showy way of fulfilling some secret mission given by the Great Demon King which failed miserably. I heard that the Neutral Sovereignty which was the nexus of the Four Regions were devastated and conquered in return due to the Great Demon King's outrage. WITHIN SEVEN DAYS AND SEVEN NIGHTS!!!

What the hell is with that overlord?! Is he trying to show off his might!? Don't tell me he came from the world where Ohmu existed!? He must be one of the surviving Crimson Devils which ended the world in the same duration!!!

In the end, there was Daemonia's ultimatum for the Humans, elves and dwarves which I heard recently. By the way, it sounded like this.

'You puny beings who ignored my dominion. Know that your days are numbered and your lives are mine to trample. Cower and surrender yourself, for I shall rule over your territories in ten years from now. All you can do is to die meaninglessly or swear allegiance to me. Become my minions for eternity, and I will ensure your life. Or you shall pay for the price of obstructing me from painting this world once again with darkness.'

......yeah. It's so obvious that there's too much pride and arrogance in it. But he has the power enough to prove his words. You wouldn't want to laugh it off as 8th-grader syndrome when he actually conquered the largest yet lawless dominion in Magnis.

Not to mention... I defeated Ivory. A Demon General and also Aschlazul's direct subordinates. He must have his name stained by having his vassal returning only to fail and be defeated by a seven years old human and a twelve years old Hero Candidate. Well, I could picture a furious Villain torturing the failed General. Also...
