"Sarah, you gotta stop acting so... bleak," Angel said, as she and Sarah wandered the back hallways together. The bright lights and noise of the main area made Angel want to take a back route to the Salon.

"What do you mean? I'm just... being me?" Sarah said, her face a mix of confusion and intrigue. Her illusion disk was on, as they'd just come from the main atrium.

"You're just so mopey. I mean yeah you smile and everything, even when you aren't forced to, but you just have a Debbie downer vibe and always end up saying something that's gonna make someone upset," Angel explained. Sarah's smile faltered as she listened to her friend.

"Oh. I don't mean to. I've never noticed it before," she said.

"You just gotta be more like me," Angel smiled.

"You caused Toby to try and rip off his ears," Sarah replied.

"See that, that right there, that's why you're bleak," Angel said, a tense smile on her face.

"... But it's true?" Sarah tipped her head.

"So? Doesn't mean you have to say it though. Plus, a little fib every now and then wouldn't kill ya," Angel said, waving her hand as she spoke.

"It won't kill me, yes, but it's not nice to lie... Plus it always leads to something worse in the future," Sarah replied.

"Just. Drop the sweet act, be more relaxed," Angel was losing her patience.

"I-..." Sarah went to protest but them shut her mouth and crossed her arms as she walked. Angel looked smug, like she'd achieved something by Sarah's silence. Sarah eventually just grumbled and turned around to walk away.

"What- where are you going? Don't tell me I hurt your feelings," Angel said, turning to look at Sarah with a look of confusion and anger.

"I wanna go to Monty golf. You have fun," Sarah snapped, walking away. Angel watched Sarah walk away and then rolled her eyes and kept on her way. Sarah got back out to the Main Atrium, going the normal way to get to Monty Golf. She saw Gregory energetically talking to some kid he'd met about the Pizzaplex and waved at him. He waved back and smiled at her, much more comfortable with her looking human, not like a robot.

"Hi Sarah!" He called. She chuckled and just waved a bit more before walking away. She worked her way through the crowds and into Monty Golf. The green neon made the water look almost toxic to her. She was glad no one was allowed in it. There were quite a few families in here today, and a young kids birthday party, which Monty was supervising. Not well mind you. It was clear he was losing his patience. Sarah went over to the stall where they had the Golf Balls and Putters. Usually there was a S.T.A.F.F. bot there, but today it was a very tired looking woman. Did all the staff have to look so overworked? Was it a criteria? Because that would explain why Sam and Jeremiah were able to work there. Both looked very sleep deprived.

"Welcome to Monty Golf. Do you have a Monty Golf Fun Pass?" the woman asked in a monotone voice. Sarah nodded and handed one from her pocket to the woman. The woman took it, looked it over and put a stamp with the day on it onto the next open spot.

"Three more and you win free Monty Themed fizzy faz for a month," the woman said in the same tone, handing the pass back to Sarah, "Height and Ball colour?"

"Uhm. I don't know how tall I am. Normally the S.T.A.F.F. bot just scans me and give me one..." Sarah said. The woman gestured to a Guitar cutout nearby with height lines on it. She stood next to it and the woman nodded and disappeared into the stall for a moment. Sarah returned to the counter as another person came up behind her with two quite loud children. The woman comes back and hands Sarah a putter.

"Ball colour?" she asked.

"Blue please," Sarah smiled. The woman at the stall hands her a ball that was an obnoxious shade of blue, as the person, an older woman, behind her scoffs.

"Is there no respect for normality?" the older woman says.

"Kathy, for the last time, stop harassing costumers colour choices. You're at a restaurant mall, themed around giant animatronics. Nothing is normal here," the woman at the stall sighed, clearly done with this older woman. Sarah just moved out of the way and went to the small line at the first hole. She didn't mind waiting. The two girls in front of her were giggling and talking. They were tall, and slender. They looked like the models Sarah used to have in her room. Her mood shifted. She didn't like thinking about that. It made her angry. She messed up so bad. She liked Angel, because her gumdrop look made her seem less perfect, which was better in Sarah's mind. But seeing just normal and naturally pretty girls always made her upset because she felt like she was going through it all again. She ignored the girls as she moved through the holes. Breathing a sigh of relief when they left after the 7th hole to get some food.
