Vanessa was on the second floor of the Atrium when she saw Angel, Sarah and Dirk all coming down the escalator.

"Oh are you guys finished?" she asked.

"The loser with one arm and the blonde fucker started fighting again. Horrible vibe," Angel said. Vanessa paused.

"Devon attacked Julius again," Sarah translated. Dirk huffed in agreement and walked past Vanessa and down to the first floor.

"Oh. Do I need to get involved?" Vanessa asked, "Or can I go grab Gregory from Freddy?"

"I think Sam's got it," Sarah said.

"Doubt it, he's a mess," Angel snapped.

"Alright, well I'm going to get Gregory..." Vanessa muttered, walking past the girls.

"Sam isn't a mess Angel, he's doing his best," Sarah retorted.

"Whatever," Angel huffed. Vanessa sighed, as she walked away, this was horrible. There were so many tensions in the group, and not enough space for them all to separate, and it's not like they can leave, because technically, they are all dead and can't get houses. Luckily Fazbear Entertainment doesn't care about its workers. And they get paid in cash, so you don't even need a bank account. Vanessa, since she's worked there a while, has a bank account and gets paid to that, but most of the newbies don't get paid to it, or bother to switch to it. She gets to Freddy's room on Rockstar Row where he was sitting with Gregory and doing some writing activities. Freddy was doing his best to teach Gregory, since they couldn't send him to school, due to his sleeping schedule. Freddy looked up at Vanessa as she came in and waved.

"Officer Vanessa," he says happily.

"Freddy. Gregory. How's it going?" she asks, sitting on the couch next to Gregory.

"He is doing quite well," Freddy said. Gregory was writing down what he did today. His handwriting wasn't the best, and he was misspelling a few words, but he was doing better than when he first started. They didn't know how long he was on the streets but they knew he didn't get enough education, or retain it, so they were starting from the beginning. He was a whizz at math and was already way past what he needed to know, but writing was a bit difficult for him, but he was good at speaking and reading for the most part, which was odd.

"That's good. When he's done, he can come with me to go check on the ghosts," Vanessa said.

"Did something happen?" Freddy asked.

"Why do you ask?" Vanessa says through gritted teeth.

"Just a guess," he says, fixing his earring which had flicked upwards.

"Yeah... God they are going to drive me insane," she sighed, putting her face in her hands.

"Why? They are just vibing," Gregory said, finishing writing and handing his book to Freddy.

"Devon attacked Julius again," Vanessa said.

"Oh. Yeah that's fair then," Gregory responded. Freddy immediately stood up.

"He did? Is he ok?" Freddy asked.

"I know you're not worried about Julius, but yes, Devon is ok. Apparently Sam is dealing with it," Vanessa explained.

"I do not trust his capabilities," Freddy said, leaving the room.

"What why?" Vanessa stood up, taking Gregory with her as she follows Freddy.

"Sam is a good enough guy but he sometimes oversteps where he should get involved," Freddy responded, "Where are they?"

"Fazcade. And he's just doing his best. He's trying to get money so he can help Nole pay for necessities, he's been looking after Toby, which in and of itself is impressive given the fact I definitely don't have the patience for that, and he does. He's gaslighting Laurence which is fun, and he's trying to help everyone else around him, while also passively taking shit from Angel. I respect him quite a lot, and you should too," Vanessa narrows her eyes as she follows Freddy. Gregory followed along behind.

"He's also judgmental, unstable and overbearing. He doesn't understand boundaries, overworks himself and is a bad influence for the kids since he is burning the candle at both ends. How long until he snaps?" Freddy responds as they go to the Fazcade.

"What has gotten into you?" Vanessa snaps back.

"What has gotten into you? You're supposed to be the suspicious one," Freddy responded.

"I'm sending you to parts and services tomorrow to check your systems," she says with an edge of annoyance in her voice. Freddy doesn't respond and goes to the Fazcade, standing in the elevator with Vanessa and Gregory. Gregory looked very uncomfortable throughout the entire elevator ride, standing against the door and looking down. Vanessa and Freddy were just glaring at each other. When the elevator doors opened, Jeremiah was standing there.

"Oh there you are, I was coming to look for you," he says. The sounds of yells from up in the arcade can be heard over the quiet pop music playing. Freddy pushes past Jeremiah and goes up to the second level. Gregory waves at Jeremiah before walking after Freddy.

"Why do you need me?" Vanessa asked.

"Oh, I think something is wrong with Sun," Jeremiah said.

"He's not the only one," Vanessa grumbled.

"What?" Jeremiah asks as Vanessa walks past him.

"Don't worry about it, I'll get the techs to check Sun tomorrow," she sighed. Jeremiah thanked her and got in the elevator to leave.
