*Ominis POV*

That moment where they say you see the light flash before your eyes....... this felt like that.

Exactly.

Like.

That.

But this time, instead of death, it felt like a part of yourself just got sucked back into your soul.

This person.

This............ energy.

Was so familiar to me. Like a warm blanket after you get stuck in the rain.

I gulped, talking the slowest step forward them.

"How-..........how are you-........how-?"

I couldn't even form words. My minds immediate flashes of old memories all coming back to the surface. Such deep pain that the tears brimmed my eyes.

They showed a small smile, turning completely towards me to reveal themself in full.

"It's been a long time, Ominis."

I slightly chuckled at the irony.

"Long time doesn't even cover it................Alora."

She had changed, I could tell that without even having to see.

I sent as much magic to my wand as possible, trying to get detailed flashes of her.

Her hair was different, it had grown in such lengths that cascaded down her robe. Her eyes slightly shadowed by her bangs that hung just above her light red eyes that flowed with magic.

Her black robe barely made her black tunic with black chains visible, black leather pants with of course her laced up combat boots. Yellow shoelaces.

I see she hasn't changed......... still representing her colors........

She hummed, looking me over as she sighed.

"I unfortunately think-.......... you are right."

I took another slow step closer to her, gripping my wand as if my life depended on it.

Her eyes looked down at my wand, frowning slightly.

"You think you're going to need that?" She asked.

I stopped in my tracks.

"Am I?" I asked.

She chuckled lowly.

"Still as sarcastic as ever........... it's good to see you haven't changed."

"Seems like that wouldn't be the case for you though, is it?"

She looked down at her hands, starting to manipulate the ancient red magic within her. Openly willing it to come forth without even having to use a wand. My grip on my wand tightened.

"Funny, isn't it? That after all this time that I had the capability of using the magic like this, if only I had learned about it sooner-"

"You think anything would have changed?"

She closed her fist, grabbing ahold of the magic before letting it sink inside her. Her eyes going back to its original color.

"Might have made all the difference in the world......."

"It wasn't your fault."

She paused, taken back of my abruptness.

"Shut up-" She yelled.
