***Moments Before He Came Out To Her****
Sebastian POV
Home.
Seeing the long-lost sight that I've been dreaming about since the moment my eyes met with the darkness.
It was just as I pictured it, even with Anne's small details she had added on while I was away. The fence, the long-stemmed flowers underneath the window seal, the garden. The warm breeze coming off the ocean, the salt air.
This place..... kept such fine memories but of also, so much pain.
Not only for me-.... but for Anne. And to as why she kept this place other than the one in Hogsmeade still baffled me.
But I guess when you're stuck in a jail cell, unwilling to do anything at all-..... the choice isn't really up to you anymore.
Anne pushed me inside, her death grip on my arm as her head laid against my shoulder. Her nails digging in deep, too afraid to let me go.
How I missed my sister. My only true family left.
My eyes took in the sight of the house, once again, nothing had really changed. Other than a few addition pieces of artwork and pictures of just-..... us.
Our memories, laughing, our parents....... gone forever but still embedded into our hearts.
I heard the kettle get planted on the stove, a flick of heat being turned as Ominis moved to make tea.
"Is it-.... as you remembered, Sebastian?" Anne said quietly.
I turned, seeing her eyes still full of tears, redness clouding them as she watched me take in the surroundings again.
"It's better than I ever imagined, Anne." I smiled.
She breathed, choking on her tears, wiping some away.
"I'm sorry-... I'm such a mess...."
I moved towards her quickly, grasping her in my arms again and holding her.
"Shhhh.... " I cooed, rubbing her back to get her to calm down, "... it's going to be okay now. I promise."
She sniffled, "...I've missed you. I've missed you so...." She whispered into me.
I sighed, "You have no idea, Anne. No idea how much I wanted to be home. With you."
My eyes traveled the room, finding Ominis waiting patiently in the kitchen, smiling like a blubbering idiot as his glossy eyes were trying to hold themselves back from the tears.
"With Ominis, too. Don't think I forgot about you."
Ominis chuckled, slightly rolling his eyes. Feeling Anne relax into my arms as her cries began to soften.
"I've dreamed of this moment, Sebastian. You coming home, being a family again. All four of us just-"
I frowned, pulling back slightly.
"What are you talking about? The four of us?"
She wiped her eyes, releasing me.
Her eyes shined a glimpse of hope. Bringing me back to the reality of the person who never came inside.
The person who broke me out of Azkaban.
The person who saved me.
The person who also is responsible for putting me in the position in the first place.
The person-
"Sebastian-"
"No Anne, absolutely not. There is no way in hell. It will always just be us. You, me and Ominis. Thats it! Thats all it will ever be, ever again-!"
