*Alora POV*

I let my wand drop from the inside of my sleeve. Marvolo's eyes immediately taking the hint that I was no longer screwing around as my red eyes lit up from the ancient magic.

"Ahh.... so you were the one Ranrok was after, such a pleasure to meet someone with such-..... ability..."

He leaned in further, feeling his breath in my face.

"I wonder what else you have hiding underneath those-"

"Thats enough Marvolo!"

I turned quickly, recognizing the voice.

He came.......

Ominis came briskly walking up the path, fixing his green tie with his dark emerald suit. His hair slicked back, his white orbs piercing through me with determination as his wand stayed low at his side.

"Ah, my little brother. What a surprise this is indeed!" Marvolo said happily, raising his arms, welcoming Ominis.

"Stop patronizing my fiancé, Marvolo."

What did he just-.....

"Your fiancé?" Marvolo asked.

Ominis came to my side, grabbing ahold of my hand but I was too frozen to even react. Feeling the ancient magic slip back inside my eyes.

"Yes..... we came to announce the news and request an audience with father. We also have... other matters to discuss."

Marvolo looked in-between the two of us, trying to find if this was actually real.

All I could do was stare, feeling Ominis squeeze my hand, slightly tugging my fingers trying to get me to convince him.

You've got to be kidding me......

"Yes..... to announce-.. our engagement." I smiled.

Marvolo sighed, opening the door for us and letting us through.

"Very well..... he's finishing up with a meeting so go ahead and wait in the dining room. I'll let him know your-...... here."

He motioned to the room off to the left, my eyes immediately following the long hallway which in the distance showed a high picture of the one and only Salazar Slytherin above the high fireplace. The dark black furniture, all the curtains closed allowing no light to come through.

Ominis pulled on my hand again, pulling me along to the dining room.

Marvolo on my tail as he closed the door behind us. The sound of the door shutting was like the sound of a jail cell. Locking us in.

There was a room blocked off, with swinging black wooden doors in which slid to the sides. Ominis opened them, pushing them off to reveal a dark black table with multiple black leather covered chairs on the sides. A snake insignia carved into the middle of it. In the back, was a black and dark green marble countertop. A decanter sat on top with crystal clear glasses, the liquid inside was a dark aged brown. Probably some sort of whiskey.

Marvolo automatically came through the black wooden doors, immediately shooting for the decanter, pouring three glasses. Filling them halfway as he eyed me.

"Well, well.... not every day does Ominis bring a woman home. Please tell me-..... when did he ask you for your hand in marriage-?" Marvolo asked, motioning for my name as he handed me the glass.

What the hell do I do? Lie?

I froze, reaching for the glass. "Alora, my name's Alora."

I looked behind me, seeing Ominis look away.
