*Tired of Healing by Noah Henderson*
*Alora POV*
Ominis worried eyes finally found me coming down the pathway, coming back to the house. He didn't know. He can't know for now he can't-
"Where in merlin did you go?!" He yelled, worried.
Without question, my arms flew around his shoulders. Pulling him to me. My fingers grasping his sweater like my life depended on it.
He stood stunned for a moment before I felt his hands came around my back.
I felt his breath in my neck, still patiently waiting for me to make my move.
"Alora.... what's-"
I pulled back finally, taking in his eyes with mine.
"I'm sorry.... I just wanted to take a walk."
Liar......
His white orbs searched mine. Like he knew something else was going on.
He sighed, not pressing me any further, "Okay.... I'm sorry it took me longer than expected Anne-..... didn't take me leaving very well."
"I figured Ominis. It's okay, really. I'm okay."
He nodded to me, grabbing his hand in mine while his other grabbed the suitcase from the ground.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
Within that moment, Sebastian emerged from the home. His eyes immediately finding mine with Ominis hand around mine. Watching intently, his chest rising and falling.
This would be the last time maybe seeing him for some time..... did I really want to leave it like that?
Ominis noticed my hesitation, squeezing my hand.
"Do you-... do you want to say something? To him?" He asked.
Did I? Would it even matter?
"I-......I don't-" I mumbled.
He released me, his hand going around my back, pushing me in his direction.
Nodding to me in approval to go ahead. That he trusted me.
I breathed, taking the lead and moving towards Sebastian. His caramelized brown eyes I had loved for so long now were darker, watching every step I took. Nostrils flaring as his red cheeks glowed.
"Leaving?" He asked.
My voice hoarse, swallowing hard, "Yeah, I guess so."
Sebastians eyes flew to the sky, the dark clouds hovering over. The wind slightly picking up, blowing my long dark hair in the wind, twisting and swirling playfully.
Small little droplets started to fall, one by one landing on our faces. It would soon become a downpour and I knew I would have to leave. But my feet seemed planted to the muddy ground that was now becoming soaked.
"Well....... looks like it's going to storm." He said bluntly. "You should get going then."
I sighed.
This isn't what I wanted....... I didn't want our last real goodbye to be like this. But-.... maybe this is easier.
He turned to leave, my breathless heart choking out its last beats for you. Calling for you.
Fuck!
Damn it Sebastian, can't you fucking hear it!
It started to pour. Coating my face with the droplets, soaking my hair, soaking my clothes, the suction of it sticking to me like glue. Forcing me to stay put as I watched you leave.
