***What Is Love by Jaymes Young***
*Alora POV*
I sat outside for quite some time. Trying to get my mind under control. His words still hitting me hard.
I thought I was better than this.
I thought I was stronger than this.
But here I am, crying like a baby on the grass. While the person I've been wanting to see for the past nine years sits inside. It didn't take long before I heard the crashing, the chairs being thrown up against the door. The table being turned over in rage. His scream sounding from the house. The sound of the caldron being dropped to the ground.
He was losing it. All the distant memories I'm sure coming to the surface. But I just had to let him, for he had more healing to do than me at this point.
The grumble of my stomach got to me, clutching my stomach as my energy was diminishing. I hadn't brought anything with me, cursing myself as I now had no choice but to walk into the house and grab something.
It had been quiet for a few moments, so I decided maybe he had done enough damage.
I breathed heavily as I made my way towards the door, standing at the breech of opening it when I felt him just on the other side. His heavy breaths, his heaving and drowning mind finally giving up.
I can't wait out for here forever Sebastian...........
I reached for the handle, opening the door and letting it open slowly by itself.
In truth, I had done worse.
Broken dishes laid out over the floor, the breaks of woods crumbled, every little artifact I had ever kept was in pieces.
He sat in the corner of the room, his head down in between his hands. His chest heaving heavily in and out. He looked like a long-lost puppy I just wanted to scoop up in my arms to hold. But I knew that wouldn't be the case. Not with him at least.
I looked down at his hands, finding deep cuts from the glass. The pounding I'm sure he did when he lost himself.
Glass shards were pointing out, blood dripping on the floor he didn't even bother to pick out.
I sighed, moving towards him and bringing my wand out.
"Don't." He growled.
I sighed, "I'm not going to let you bleed out over my floor Sebastian." I said forcefully.
I leaned down in front of him. Grabbing his hand and examining it. There were about 3 different shards of glass sticking out. Small ones but still causing dents into his skin.
I got up swiftly, moving towards the bathroom. Grabbing a few supplies from the cabinet, gauzes, anti-septic, anything I could find to clean the wound. The rest I would just use healing charms to close them.
I moved back over to him, grabbing his hand but he pulled back almost instantly. Shooing me away harshly.
I huffed, "Damn it Sebastian, give me your hand-"
"I don't want your fucking help, Alora!"
"And I don't fucking care!" I grabbed his hand again, forcing it to stand still as he tried moving away from me again. I grabbed the anti-septic, dabbing it inside the gauze, forcefully putting it on the cuts to clean them before yanking out the glass.
He groaned in pain. Yanking his hand back to his chest.
"THAT HURT!" He yelled at me.
I gritted my teeth together, going to grab his hand again as his dark eyes watched me.
