(Black Clover)-Mereoleona Vermillion: Freelance Mission.

Mereoleona Vermillion fierce, strong, vicious, mean, tough, strict, disciplined, determined, loyal and a force of nature which most people as well as I would describe, however, there is something I would personally add, beautiful. This wasn't our first mission together, I actually first met her when she was training by herself in the woods, that was an... Interesting encounter. On our current mission, the two of us were sent to apprehend a dangerous gang leader who had been causing trouble in the Clover kingdom for some time. Unfortunately, the Magic Knights were short-staffed at the moment and had to resort to hiring me a Freelander.

And so here we were, we managed to beat the crap out of this guy and a few of his cronies the rest ran like chickens. He was tied up and knocked out

Mereoleona: "Huh he was tougher than I thought."

She spat out some blood her cheek slightly swollen.

Y/N: "Yeah tell me about it. He even managed to cut my hand a bit."

Mereoleona: "Really? Let me see."

She took my hand, her touch always made my heart race a bit.

Mereoleona: "And so he did, not as invincible as I thought ay Y/N whahaha."

She lifted her arm and brought it down low fiveing me really hard then turned the other way. Now you would think I could take it right after all I can match Mereoleona. But nope she was a hell of a lot rougher than you think. My eyes bulged, my mouth puffed and my cheeks turned red as I held in a yell of pain. Stupid yeah, but knowing how hard-natured my partner was my pride wouldn't allow me to show a weaker side to me. I let out a puff of air.

Mereoleona: "What was that?"

She turned to face me.

Y/N: "Oh you know just a little fatigued from that fight is all."

Mereoleona: "Come on you cannot be that out of shape."

Y/N: "What can I say works been slow."

Mereoleona: "And what you never work out."

Y/N: "Too busy job hunting, anyway I suppose we should take this guy back to the tavern and meet the escort team."

Mereoleona: "Yep."

She summoned a hand made out of fire that picked the guy up. We made our way back to the village. Luckily she had the fire, so we could see in the dead of night, the clouds covering the moon did not help. We got to the tavern and walked in catching side eyes from a few bounty hunters.

Y/N: "No escort team huh, they should have been here by now."

Mereoleona: "They're late, I'm going to kick their asses when we get back to the capital."

Y/N: "Well might as well have a drink so long."

We walked over to the bar, dumped his body next to us and ordered an ale each, sadly this guy had a big bounty on his head. This unfortunately attracted a whole slew of bounty hunters.

Mereoleona: "These guys are going to start some trouble I just know it."

Y/N: "Well let's stay calm and not do anything rash, we don't want to cause the bartender any trouble now."

Mereoleona: "I'm telling you right now they're dead if they get too close."

Y/N: "Just keep calm and let me do the talking."

One such bounty hunter walked up to us and sat right next to me, smart move, he would have been thrown through the wall if he sat next to Mereoleona.

Bounty Hunter: "Magic knights I take it, by the looks of your uniform, and you caught the bandit outlaw. Impressive do you know how much his bounty is? A lot more than your monthly wages I bet, tell you what, why go through the trouble of escorting this guy all the way back and get nothing in return? Let us take him off your hands and we'll give you this." He slid a pouch full of gold towards us. "You split it and I guarantee that it will be at least 3 months wages more than you'll get bringing him in then we will get a bit of profit from his bounty and we all walk away happy."
