(DC)-Kara Zor-El/Supergirl: Flight Confession

It was just an average day for me, the usual mugging, bank robbery, falling Building, earthquake, malfunctioning plane or car etc, you know all designed to kill me. Only this time it was a burning building, I was standing at the top of the building trying to escape the fire.

Y/N: "This was a stupid idea."

I activated the distress beacon on my wrist that Kara gave me

Y/N: "Come on Kara where are you? I'm about to be fried."

Looking back at the fire getting closer I started to back up, only to trip on the edge and start to fall down

Y/N: "Oh shit!"

As I start to fall down to my doom I feel a sudden drag force and heavy wind through my hair. Only to notice a blond hair and blue eye's bombshell known as supergirl. She quickly took care of the fire using her super-breath the flew off all at the same time carrying me.

Kara: "Sorry I'm late had a bank robbery then a ship about to crash into a port and a child almost hit by a car to deal with."

Gripping tightly around her and panicking a bit as she carried me bridal style.

Y/N: "That's ok Kara you do what you gotta do, and in the end you saved me but could you please put me down now, you know I hate flying and heights!!!"

Kara: " Yeah I can tell by the way you are holding onto me, anyone else and you would be crushing their throat."

Y/N: "Well lucky you are not anyone else and you can take the pressure, now can you take me down."

Kara: "Before I do that can we talk first, there's something I need to get out of my system."

Y/N: "Really now! Can't we do it somewhere on land!

Kara: "Look Y/N I know you are scared but I really need to talk about this and it is nerve-wracking, flying is the only way I can calm down to do this, just focus on me, keep looking into my eye's to distract you. I need you to trust me please!"

She looked at me with a pleading face. Gazing into her beautiful blue eye's I felt my heart race even more as I kept focus on her, she was absolutely beautiful, in truth I always had a crush on her, but I never could muster the courage to tell her. It was mostly due to the idea of rejection but, I won't lie knowing that if I pissed her off just a little she could practically snap me in half with her pinkie kinda made her a bit intimidating. Calming down and looking at her I gently say

Y/N: "Ok I trust you."

A blush appeared on her face while smiling.

Kara: "Look we've known each other since high school, which haha is some time, and you were always there by my side ready to stand up for me, even though I was very capable of looking after myself. Hell, you even took a kryptonite bullet for me, that was the moment that confirmed something that was tugging at my heart."

Y/N: "Oh hell that last bit really got my heart racing now what is she trying to say."

Kara: "Look what I'm trying to say is."

Y/N: "Dam it's like she read my mind, wait is that a power I'm not aware of, oh no!"

A slight smile appeared on her lips with a chuckle

Kara: " haha, no I can't read your mind, I've known you so long I can take guesses and speculate what you are thinking. Anyway in all seriousness what I am trying to say is...I...really like you."

I was absolutely shocked at what she said a deep blush appeared on her face.

Kara: "I'm not entirely sure of this but it's possible I even love you. I'm still trying to figure that out but...I...really don't know"

She was nervous I could tell by the fumbling of her words. Still looking at in her eyes saying softly

Y/N: "Kara..."

She was too unfocused to hear me.

Kara: "and... it's a bit confusing... bu...but I'm sure we will..."

Placing my one hand against her cheek

Y/N: "Kara" she stopped to really looking at me calming down "Fly us down to a skyscraper."

She flew us down and landed us safely on a tall building, by some twist of fate, as if God painted the scenario just for us, A beautiful sunset was on the horizon, its pink and red colour danced off the clouds. Setting the perfect mood. I then proceeded to place my arms around her waist pulling her body against mine. I pulled her into a deep passionate long kiss when we parted I looked deeply into her eyes.

Y/N: "Kara... I really like you too, I won't say love as you seem really confused, so let's start with really like and move our way from there."

We were both smiling like idiot's but we didn't care if we had each other.

Kara: "I'd love that."

I drew her in for another loving kiss.
