Makeovers and Ghost Stories

Meggy came back into the castle with sparkling boots, but Four and Melony seemed to have disappeared. Meggy looked confused till she gasped at the sight in front of her. Four and Melony  were both in cute pajamas, applying some sort of substance to their faces. Four was wearing blue pj's and Melony was wearing a cute onesie that was decorated with watermelons. Meggy was a bit ticked off at this sight as she asked "Hold on a second! You made me wash off the mud on my boots, but it's okay for you guys to have mud all over your faces!?" Meggy never really wore makeup so she wasn't experienced on beauty treatments.

Melony giggled and said "Silly Meggy! This is called a mud mask. It will help refresh your skin." Four squealed "We're giving each other makeovers!" Meggy was still a tad confused so Four held up his phone with the website to show her. "We have to do it! It says so right here!" She studied the title carefully till she froze, side eying the room. "Oh uh- look at the time! I got to go home because I'm very late to uhh- something. Goodnight!" She raced out the front door to be met with a powerful strike of lighting, stopping her in her tracks. Startled, she raced back inside. "Or maybe I'll stay here for a mask as well." Four cheered and hugged Meggy, crying out "Hooray! Slumber party!"

Meggy was still unsure until Melony threw a mask on her and rubbed it all over. Meggy glared in disgust as Melony put two cucumbers on. "What is this for?" Melony pointed out "To reduce the puffiness around your eyes."

"Who cares about puffiness? This is good eating!" Meggy took off the cucumbers and ate them instead." Melony blinked a few times while trying to keep her cool. Four was reading the website while still obsessing over it like a fangirl. "Isn't this exciting? We'll do everything by the guide, and that will make my sleepover so much fun!" Melony turned to Meggy and said "Did you hear that Meggy? You don't want to do anything that would ruin SMG4's first slumber party, right?" Meggy felt a little offended. "Of course not! You wouldn't either?"

"So do we agree?" Meggy nodded and did a spit swear, however, it just grossed Melony out. "Ewww. That's disgusting!" Meggy got into her face and said, sounding irritated "Your just fussy and getting under my nerves!" Melony sighed and said "Lucky for you, I get along with all my friends." Meggy saw this as competition. "Oh yeah? Well I'm the most gettin alongness friend out of all of us!" Melony argued back "That's not even a word." Four suddenly popped up, wrapping his arms around both of them, and said "This is going to be the best sleepover ever Yay!"

They both replied "Yay..." back in a discouraged voice, but continued to glance at each other. The rain was still pouring as Melony, wearing hair curlers asked Meggy "How you doing there Meggy?" She was sitting on the ground, pouting, also with curlers in her hair, and mumbling "Just fine..." She had changed into her squid t-shirt and shorts. A typical casual wear for her pajamas. Four watched them with already curly hair. He had used a different method of curling by using a flat iron. He giggled "This is so awesome!" He pulled out his phone and marked down the first activity. "Makeovers, check!" Melony and Meggy got out their hair curlers while Four was interested from the next thing on the list. "Oooo. It says here we have to tell ghost stories. Who wants to go first?" He didn't really like spooky stuff, but apparently the idea of a common slumber party activity like this was just fine.

Meggy perked up as she waved her hand and yelled "ME!" She cleared her throat and said "I'd like to tell you all the terrifying story of the fussy ghost that drove everyone insane from her unnecessary antics! OoOoOoO" She turned to Melony and said with a smug grin "I'm sure you are familiar with that one Melony." She shook her head and said "Never heard of it, but I have a much better one. It's the horrifying story of the rough and inconsiderate ghost that irritated everyone within a hundred miles! OoOoOoO" Meggy confronted her on that eerily familiar story. "That's not real! You made it up!"

"They're all made up Meggy!" Lighting struck and the lights went off. Four pulled out a flashlight and said "Iv'e got one! This story is called the legend of the headless horseman..." The three friends gathered around in a circle. "It was a dark and stormy night just like this one and three friends were having a slumber party. Just like this one..."

The storm continued to get worse outside as Four told the story. "And just when the last person thought she was safe, there, standing right behind her, just inches away was..." Melony and Meggy were getting scared and shaking. "THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN!" A flash of light appeared, and with it came a headless figure that startled the girls. They screamed and clung to each other only to find that it was just Four with a blanket draped over his head. He went over to turn on the lights and marked off the second activity. "Ghost story, check!" Melony and Meggy blinked, puzzled on what just happened and realized they were still hugging each other. They let go and disapprovingly turned away from each other while crossing their arms. Four asked them "Now who wants s'mores?"
