SMG4 X MLP (Season 1)

Stranger Danger

Author's Note: Changed the role of Zecora to Egad since I figured it would make more sense for the Smg4 crew believing he was a mad scientist and he's usually helping them in his episodes.

Four and Bob were walking through the town, looking up at the bright and sunshiny day. "Wow! What a gorgeous day." Bob couldn't care less. "I bet all of the Mushroom Kingdom will be out, enjoying the day." They entered the town, only to find that....nobody was outside. A few citizens were on their doorsteps, but only for a second as they slammed their doors and pulled up the curtains. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" Four was just as confused as Bob was. "I'm not sure."

As they walked past Mario's house, Bob's eyes widened and he stopped in his tracks. Four looked back to see what the matter was. "IT'S THE RATS! THEY FOUND ME!!!" Four raised an eyebrow and replied "I seriously doubt that Bob." Suddenly the unwelcoming silence was interrupted by a voice going "Pssssttt..." Four and Bob turned to see a figure, lingering in the doorway of Mario's house. It was hard to tell at first, but that person was definitely Mario. "Smg4...Bob...Come here."

They shared a glance of confusion till Mario poked his head out and looked to see if the coast was clear. "Hurry! Before he gets you!" Four obviously got the hint, but Bob was still skeptical. "WHO CARES WHO IT IS!" His samurai swords turn into hammers as he spins around and yells "TIME FOR ACTION!" Instead Four grabs Bob and flings him inside, following behind. Once the door is shut tight, Mario turns on a flashlight. "I TOLD YOU THE RATS ARE COMING!"

"Bob! It's not rats!" Four then asks Mario "What are you doing here alone in the dark?" Mario blinks and says "Mario's not alone in the dark." The two look around to find Meggy, Melony, Tari, Three, Boopkins, and Luigi all around them. "Okay then? What are you all doing here in the dark?" Meggy opens the curtains to a window and says "We're hiding from him..."

They all look outside to see a mysterious figure in a cloak, walking around outside. It seemed weird, but he was digging in the dirt. All of a sudden the person look right at the window with glowing eyes and everyone hit the deck. All but Four. Usually, he was spooked real easy, but something about this person got Four more curious than spooked. Boopkins tugged on his sleeve and said "Did you see him Four? Did you see Egad?"

"Boopkins! Don't say that name!" Meggy seemed to be a little overprotective of Boopkins. "Well I saw her glance this way." Mario got right in his face and said "Glance evilly this way. Ooooo very scary." Four rolled his eyes at him and continued. "And then all of you flip out for some reason." Meggy certainly took offense to that. "SOME REASON!? You call protecting your friends 'some reason' Four?" She began patting Boopkins head like he was a puppy or something. "Why as soon as Boopkins saw him walking into town, he started shaking like crazy." She began swaying Boopkins back and forth, making him dizzy.

"I swept him up and brought him here." Once recovering from the spinning, Boopkins corrected her. "Actually, I walked here myself Meggy." She didn't seem convinced. "I know you're worried about me, but I'm not a baby."

"Well you can't protect yourself from Egad." Tari spoke up "He's mysterious." Three continued "Sinister." Mario added his own touch at the end. "And very spooky." Four just decided to ignore them and went back to look at the window. They all huddled up behind him and watched Egad take his hood off. Everyone except Four gasped. This was getting ridiculous. "Will you all cut that out!" Melony took notice of Egad's glasses. "Look at those eyes. They give me the creeps.

"He's a scientist." This piped Meggy's interest of confusion. "A what?" He said "A scientist." and turned to Melony. "Those are his glasses and it was what he was prescribed with." Meggy went back to being accusatory. "Prescribed!? Iv'e never seen a person this creepy except h-h-him..."

"Well he's probably not from here, but iv'e never seen him in the Mushroom Kingdom. Where does he live?" Bob was getting bored so he went off to sneak into the kitchen. "That's just it. He lives in The Dark Webbed Forest!" A loud crash came from the kitchen, scaring Luigi so badly, he passed out. "BOB!" Meggy turned the conversation back on track. "The Dark Webbed Forest is just unnatural."

Basically the forest was if the dark web was a physical environment. "And that wicked mad scientist lives there doing his evil...stuff! He's so evil that Mario wrote a song about him!" Three rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Here we go..." 

Mario started making a bunch of weird dance moves while singing "He's an evil scientist and makes evil creations! And if you look in his nerd glasses he'll zap you with lazers! Then what will you do? He'll take all the lightning and turn you in a big ugly zombie sooooo WATCH OUT!" He breathes heavily while the others look at him like their braincells just caught on fire. "Wow. Catchy." Mario looks upon his song proudly and says "Mario's still working on it."

Four pushes him aside and says "This is all just gossip and rumors. What have you actually seen Egad do?" Three rubs his chin in thought. "Well...once a month he comes into the Mushroom Kingdom."

"OOOOO soooo scary." Four said sarcastically. Melony pipes up "Then he lurks by the stores."

"Oh my." Once again Four showed off his sarcastic tone. Tari finishes with "Then he digs at the ground." Four looks around with faux panic. "Dear God." He then returns back to his normal state. "I'm sorry but what does any of this have to do with being mad?" He then though of some less horrifying options. "Maybe he comes here to visit." Boopkins, tired of being left out, decides to butt in on the conversation. "Yeah, maybe he's just being friendly!" Nobody paid attention to him as Four said "And maybe he's not lurking by the stores. He's actually going to them to do some shopping."

"Yeah! Everyone loves shopping! I think that-" Meggy had enough. "Could you just let us talk by ourselves Boopkins?" He sighed and gave up. Three was still suspicious. "What about the digging? You've got to admit that's weird." Tari gets a terrifying thought. "What if he's digging for innocent creatures?" Mario was being no help as usual, singing his catchy song. "I'm sure there's a perfect explanation for everything that Egad does and if any of you actually went up and talked to him, you'd find the truth!" Boopkins perked up from hearing what Four said. He got an idea. "I'll find out myself. Then my friends will see I'm brave like them." He opened the door and went off in search of Egad while the others didn't even notice.
