One heck of a talent show

This was it, the big night. A crowd filled with goombas, koopas, and a bunch of other Mario characters were sitting in the audience. First up was Wario's Magic Act. He was wearing a top hat and bowtie while pulling out a stick. The audience was confused as they wondered what that was for. Shouldn't it be a wand? Wario took off his hat and began whipping the stick while making some mumbling noises that sounded like magic sound effects.

Suddenly lightning struck the stage and Waluigi appeared on fire. "JESUS CHRIST!!!" Wario started panicking to himself and then got an idea. He chuckled evil while Waluigi was still recovering and when he wasn't looking, his brother picked him up and started twisting him into shapes like a balloon. First up was Waluigi doing some flexing. Then some flexibility that almost made him look like a pretzel. Finally he turned Waluigi into some missile launcher or something and called out to the audience "Now it's time for my great disappearing act!" The Waluigi launchah exploded into smoke and both of them were gone.

Peach came back onto stage with a nervous look. "Uh let's give it up for the Wario brother's magic act..." She looked at the list line up and said "Up next we have Bowser's soul song." Bowser was wearing a tutu, crown, and a fairy princess wand when he slipped a piece of paper to Peach. "You can call me anytime." She crumpled up the note and facepalmed herself. "Just get this over with." Behind the stage was Mario, Meggy, Four, and Saiko all getting ready for the show. "I cannot believe I am playing with blue hair." Meggy gave him a look of reassurance and reminded him "It doesn't look that bad Four. Besides we're doing this for Saiko."

"You're right Meggy." he said while getting out his guitar. "And how are you doing Saiko?" She turned to Meggy and tried to act all tough, but deep down she was quite the nervous one. What if Bob was right? What if her playing did suck? "I can't wait to show all these losers what real music sounds like!"

"YOU MEAN I AM!" They turned to find Bob all dressed in his gold chains and sunglasses, ready to put on the greatest rap song the kingdom had ever seen. "Bob you're up next." Peach said as she went to go burn her eyes out after watching Bowser sing about chicken nuggets. He pulled out his microphone and said "GET READY TO MELT FROM EXTREME COOLNESS!" He went on stage while all of them rolled his eyes at him.

30 minutes later...

"BOOM! MIC DROP!" Bob finished his song only to be met with awkward silence from the audience. One guy yelled from the back "Oh brother, this guy STINKS!" The idiot just kept bowing and waving as he was imagining a more warmer reception. He walked off and said to the band "TOP THAT LOSERS!" Even though Saiko hated Bob's bragging more than anyone, she felt self conscious on what would happen if the song was a flop. Actually being beaten by Bob. Now that would be embarrassing.

They all got into place as the curtains were about to rise. Meggy thought that some words of encouragement would help lighten the mood. "We got this guys! You wrote a great song Saiko and everyone is going to love it!" Four and Mario actively agreed as it managed to give Saiko the confidence she needed to put on a hardcore performance. The curtains began to rise and the music began playing.

As the rhythm died down, Saiko anxiously awaited the response from the audience. To hate or not to hate, that was the question. A thunderous applause overtook the audience as their minds were blown. As the band waved and went backstage, Mario began hugging all his friends. "THAT WAS AMAZING! MARIO LOVED IT SO MUCH!"

"I have to admit that it was actually so much fun being in a band! We should do this again!" Meggy replied. "Not bad everyone." Four struck.

"LOL THAT SUCKED!" Bob was still mocking them even though it was clear the audience loved them more than his rapping. "Time to pick the act that will get the award!" Peach said as she held the shiny trophy. "OH BOY! I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW IT OFF AT THE DUMP!" He started pushing his friends to the stage and yelling "MOVE IT! I WANT TO GET MY TROPHY!
