Tensions Rising

Bob watches closely on the race as he wants to see the pressure from those two racers, Meggy and Three. While both of them are neck and neck, Bob hears a thud. "THE HECK WAS THAT!?" He looks over to the side of the balloon and finds Mario trying to climb into the balloon. "AHHH THERE'S A GREMLIN ON THE BALLOON!"

He pulls a stick out from a nearby tree as Mario struggles and yells "Bob! I'm going to-" He gets interrupted by Bob, smacking him with the stick. "GET OFF GREMLIN! GET OFF!" Mario holds on for dear life, but Bob takes a huge wack, causing him to dangle off the bottom of the basket. Bob looks down and says "AND AS THE LORD SAYS IN THE HOLY BIBLE...GET THE HELL OF MY BALLOON!!!" Just before he can whack Mario off with the stick, Mario grabs his arm. Bob falls out and holds onto a balloon string as they hold on for dear life. "AHHH YOU FAT MORON!"

Back at the race, Meggy inches ahead of Three, but then he reaches ahead. Meggy is not deterred though as she plunges ahead very far. "Not so easy now is it." Meggy says as she notices him in the dust. Three gets more visibly angry as he won't let her take it at the start. He passes her and goes back to a bragging manner. "You didn't think I was going to make it that easy for you!" Meggy was so shocked, she tripped over a rock and slammed into the ground as the other racers past her.

The ground is covered with leaves as Meggy gets up and dusts herself off. "I don't believe it!" Four was walking behind her, admiring the scenery. "I know. It's beautiful isn't it?" Meggy rolled her eyes at him. "Not the scenery Four. Three just tripped me!"

"He did not!"

"Did so!"

"He did not! If you had slowed down and looked where you were going, you would have saw that you tripped on a rock."

"WHAT!?" Meggy whipped her head around to find a rock behind her and facepalms. "Great. Now I've got a lot of ground to cover to catch up with him." She ran off while Four called out "Be careful!" He continued to walk and look around at the orange, red, and yellow trees. Three was running, but when he looked behind him and saw nobody there, he slowed down. Suddenly Meggy darted past him and called out "See you at the finish line!"

Three was standing there in shock, while just above him, Bob and Mario were tussling with each other. "PLEASE HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" Mario was screaming and flailing around so he wasn't helping at all. Three caught up to Meggy and yelled "This race isn't over yet!" She looked and shot back "It is for you!" That was when Three made the same fatal mistake as Meggy. A tree stump had tripped him and he looked up to see all the other racers past him.

"I don't believe it! That cheating squid tripped me!" He turned around as someone had stopped to talk to him. "Don't you guys ever look where you're going? You tripped on a stump." He pointed to the cause of the slip that was poking out of the ground. "Yes. And I also see a big cheater!" Four shook his head. "Meggy would never cheat. It was just a mistake."

Three scowled at him and said "Yeah sure." Four could sense the accusing expression in his voice and crossed his arms. When Three sensed it, he sighed and said "Whatever. It's not like I care anyways." Four walked past and reminded him "Remember this is just a race."

Being showed up. Making a stupid mistake. That idiot didn't even knew what was on line here.

"But the rules have changed..."
