Four sat in the tub with a sour expression while Mario tried to explain his weird reflex. "Mario gets different feelings that mean different things. When Mario's back is itchy, it means it's his lucky day! And when Mario's knee is pinchy it means something ooooo really scary is about to happen."

If something teerfying happened right now, Four couldn't handle it, so he had to ask "Is you're knee pinchy now?"

"No, but Mario's shoulder is achy, that means that spaghetti is in the tub!" He instantly dove in and shoved the soaked pasta into Four's face. "What is that doing in there..."

"This is Mario's pet spaghetti!" Four sighed. Of course that idiot would have a plate of spaghetti as a pet. Next thing you know, he'll probably get an invitation in the mail of Mario's wedding with his favorite food. "Okay. Okay. I get it."

After the bath, Mario and Four were walking together as he couldn't keep the silence for long. "I still don't believe this 'super sense' or something. It's just a bunch of gibberish." Mario stared at him in confusion, wondering why his best friend wouldn't take his word for it. "What is not to believe? You have meme powers! What's the difference?" Four stopped in his tracks and treated it like an insult. "Huge. For one thing..."

He noticed Mario wasn't paying attention so he grabbed him by the arm and gave a very stern lecture. "My meme powers is something I have to study and practice and it only happens when I decide to do it. It's meant to make something specific happen that I choose. With you...it makes no sense at all!"

Mario shook his head and gave some new information that could have been helpful earlier. "That's not true! Sometimes Mario gets a bunch of random things that he calls COMBOS!"

"Combos?" The two had made it back to Peach's castle. "Yup! When Mario has a ear flop, knee twitch, and eye flutter it means the sky is going to have a rainbow!" "Yeah sure." Four was going to open the door when Mario felt a combo. "Ear flop, eye flutter, knee twitch!" Four raised an eyebrow as he grabbed onto the doorknob when suddenly the door flew open as Toad came out. "Hi Toad!"

"Hello fatso." He walked off as Mario looked back to Four who was lying on the ground, rubbing his head. "*groan* you said that combo meant a rainbow..." Mario immediately corrected him. "Oh no! Mario said that was ear flop, knee twitch, eye flutter, but this was a ear flop, then eye flutter, then knee twitch. That means to look out for opening doors."

Mario helped him up carefully. "You okay?" Four dusted himself off and mumbled "I don't believe this."

"You don't believe because you don't understand Mario!" That gave Four an idea.

He hooked Mario up to a big machine in his room as he typed away on his computer. "Okay. Now when you get another twitch, we'll have all the information about it." Mario gave a thumbs up and said "Okey dokey." They waited and...nothing happened. "Any twitches yet?" They waited a few more minutes, but still not a single thing. "Now?"

"WAIT!...Nope never mind." Four's eye started to twitch a little. "Are you kidding me!? After you were twitching all day, now that I've go you all hooked up you aren't having a single one!"

"Mario doesn't control it. They just come and go."

"THAT MAKES NO SENSE!"

"Maybe you should just take Mario's word for it."

"I will not believe in anything that is not explained!"

Mario then stopped him in shock. "Mario's getting something!" Four clapped his eyes in excitement. "What!?" Turns out it was just the growling of Mario's stomach. "Let's eat!"

"UGH!" Four unplugged the wires and yelled out "You know what!? Just forget it! I don't need to know if this is real or not! I don't even care!" Mario shrugged and walked with Four to the door. He stopped and got that dreaded combo of ear flop, eye flutter, knee twitch. Four's distraction got the best of him again as Boopkins swung the door open. "Mario have you seen Four?" He nodded and walked past him.

A groan could be heard behind the door as Boopkins looked behind and there he was. "Did you two plan this?" Boopkins had no idea what he was talking about. "Plan what?" Four tapped his nails on the floor with one hand and held his head with the other. "This is ridiculous! This can't be real life! It makes no sense!" This was going to drive him crazy if he didn't do something soon.

"I have to figure this out."
