Y/n's world seemed to shatter at Hoseok's announcement. "What?" she exclaimed in disbelief. The room fell into a heavy silence until their mother broke it, asking, "Why?"

Hoseok hesitated, feeling the weight of their gazes. "I..." he began, struggling to find the right words.

Their father interjected, his concern evident. "And when are you leaving?"

Hoseok swallowed hard. "Day after tomorrow," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

Y/n's heart sank at the news. "And you're telling us now?" she exclaimed, her disbelief turning into frustration. "And on top of that, isn't Angelina your ex? Are you going with her?"

His response was a curt "Yes," leaving Y/n feeling betrayed and hurt. She lost her appetite, abruptly standing and storming off to her room, locking herself in. It was an unpleasant end to an already tumultuous day.

After some time, there was a knock on her door, and Y/n knew exactly who it was. "Y/n-ah," Hoseok's voice came from the other side. "I know you're mad at me, but please hear me out, okay?"

"I don't want to," she yelled from behind the door, her frustration evident.

"Okay, then I'll stand here until you let me in," Hoseok replied, his tone determined. "And it's your fault if I get leg pain."

Unable to resist his playful threat, Y/n opened the door, giving him an annoyed look before retreating to her bed and burying herself under the blanket in a childish display of frustration. Hoseok chuckled and joined her, sitting beside her on the bed.Hoseok sat beside Y/n, his heart heavy with the weight of his impending departure. He reached out to gently stroke her hair, his touch a silent reassurance.

Y/n peered up at him from beneath tear-filled eyes, her expression a mix of sadness and confusion. "Why do you have to go, Oppa?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion.

Hoseok sighed, his own eyes reflecting her pain. "I know it's hard to understand, Y/n," he began, his voice gentle yet resolute. "But this opportunity in Russia—it's important for our family's future and your safety. I know it's hard to understand now eventually you'll get to know but for now I have to go, but I'll always be here for you, no matter where I am."

Tears welled up in Y/n's eyes as she listened to her brother's words. She threw her arms around him, burying her face in his chest as she sobbed uncontrollably.

Hoseok held her close, his own tears mingling with hers as they clung to each other in silent despair. "I'll miss you, Y/n," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion.

"I'll miss you too, Oppa" Y/n murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "Promise me you'll come back."

Hoseok nodded, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "I promise," he vowed, his heart heavy with the weight of their separation. "I'll come back for you, I promise."

Later that night, Y/n and Hoseok lay curled up together in Y/n's bed, their tears dried but their hearts still heavy with emotions. As Y/n and Hoseok slept peacefully, unaware of the looming darkness, their parents quietly peeked into the room, their hearts swelling with pride and love at the sight of their children embracing each other in the face of adversity.

Tears glistened in their eyes as they beheld the bond between their siblings, a bond forged through countless trials and tribulations. It was a testament to the strength of their family, a strength that would carry them through even the darkest of times.

With a soft smile, they closed the door, leaving Y/n and Hoseok to sleep peacefully, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would always have each other's love and support to carry them through.
