As the sun painted the morning sky with hues of pink and gold, Y/n and her friends embarked on their daily journey to school, their footsteps echoing with the rhythm of shared laughter and animated conversation.

Time skip to lunch time;

As the lunchtime bell chimed its familiar melody, Y/n found herself wandering the bustling corridors of the school, her thoughts drifting back to the conversation from the day before. Jennie's words about Jungkook lingered in her mind like a playful whisper, urging her to seek out the enigmatic figure who had unexpectedly captured her curiosity.

With a sense of anticipation prickling at her skin, Y/n made her way to the courtyard, her heart quickening with each step. The courtyard, usually a tranquil oasis of greenery and sunshine, now held the promise of intrigue and possibility.

As she entered the open space, her eyes scanned the area, searching for any sign of Jungkook's presence. The gentle rustle of leaves overhead and the soft murmur of distant conversation filled the air, but there was no sign of him.

Disappointment threatened to dampen her spirits, but Y/n refused to give up hope. She settled onto a nearby bench, her gaze fixed on the tree where Jennie had claimed to have seen him the day before. Perhaps he would appear, like a phantom emerging from the shadows, to dispel the uncertainty that clouded her thoughts.

Minutes stretched into eternity as Y/n waited, her patience tested by the passage of time. But just as she began to lose hope, a figure appeared on the horizon, walking with purpose towards the courtyard.

Her heart leapt in her chest as she recognized the familiar silhouette, and a rush of excitement flooded through her veins. Could it be him? Would their paths finally cross, igniting a spark of connection that had eluded them thus far?

Curiosity piqued, Y/n decided to sneak a peek and see if it was indeed Jungkook under the tree. She made her way to the courtyard, trying to maintain an air of nonchalance as she approached.

Carefully peeking from behind the tree, Y/n spotted a figure sitting peacefully, engrossed in a book. There he was, Jungkook, with a serene expression on his face, completely absorbed in his reading.

Y/n couldn't help but admire his dedication, momentarily lost in watching him. However, her reverie was abruptly interrupted by a whisper near her ear.

"Stalking your crush, huh?" came the unexpected voice.

Y/n jumped in surprise, almost losing her balance. "Oh my God, what the..." she began, turning around to find Namjoon standing there, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Namjoon grinned playfully, enjoying Y/n's reaction. "Caught you red-handed, huh?"

Y/n chuckled nervously, trying to regain her composure. "I-I wasn't stalking! Just, you know, passing by..."

Namjoon raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. "Sure, sure. Whatever you say. Just be careful not to get caught next time," he teased, giving her a friendly wink before sauntering away.

Left alone with her thoughts, Y/n couldn't help but blush at the unexpected encounter. She made a mental note to be more discreet in her curiosity next time.

Meanwhile;

Jungkook's heart raced as he heard the sudden scream pierce through the quiet courtyard. Instinctively, he turned towards the source, only to find Y/n and Namjoon standing there, their expressions a mix of surprise and amusement.

"Why is he always around her?" Jungkook thought, his brows furrowing with irritation. "Doesn't he have anything better to do than to bother her?"

His fists clenched at his sides, a surge of possessiveness washing over him. "She's mine," he wanted to growl, his jaw tightening with frustration. "Why can't he just leave her alone?"
