The couple next hours were quite boring. "I should've gone with Hanji." You said, stretching.

"Excuse me, Mr. Military Police..." You muttered, trying to edge away from his sharp blade.

"We're taking you in custody."

"Of co-"

You plugged your ears. "Hey Lev? Can I go yet...? My ears are starting to hurt."

He didn't move. "I don't like pointless deaths, (Y/N)."

"Yes, Corporal!" Your teasing tone rang out, before you shot your grapple hook to a roof; waving goodbye to the Military Police.

The useless ones.

Dread awaited you as you left the calm atmosphere from down below. From the tall building, you could clearly see the debris caused by the Female Titan.

"Eren..?" You watch the Titan Shifter wrestle Annie. You shot forward, jumping the buildings until you came to Mikasa.

"What's happening?" You casually ask, crossing your arms across your chest. She shook her head. "I-I'm not sure myself. But I know we can't do anything."

You looked down, and happened to spot a young girl walking the streets. "Hey!" You shot down, surprising her.

"What are you doing here? There's Titans nearby." You smile at the cloaked girl. "C'mon, don't you want to surv-"

"...(Y/N)?"

"...ive?"

For what seemed the 100th time today, you felt like your blood turned to ice as the girl threw her hood off.

Her dark brown eyes looked at you, wide. Hana's hair was tucked into a ponytail, and she had gotten a lot skinnier.

She wore a red rose in her hair, a pin from her mother. "Hana...Takei?!" You cried, not moving as a Titan's foot came down on the earth, shaking you.

Your childhood friend threw her arms around you, her hands shaking. "Hana." You softly whisper. "Hana! Where have you been?!" You shot a grapple hook to the roof, and grabbed Hana.

You plopped her down. "Talk." You commanded. She laughed, her laugh had changed, too. From the loud, belted out kind, to the soft and chiming like bells kind.

"Oh, (Y/N). You have no idea how happy I am to see you." She said, a tear forming in her eye. "Wait, wait. Don't cry." You said.

"But I'm so happy to see you."

"It's been what...ten years?" You ask, watching the Titans clash against each other from afar.

"Hmm, about." She stood up, her white cloak fluttering at her knees. "Hey, (Y/N)?"

"Yeah?"

"You remember Levi?"

"Yeah?" You were going to tell her Levi was nearby.

"Remember when we would always play together?"

"Yeah." You laugh a little.

"I miss him."

"Come here." You grabbed her hand, and raced down from the building, ignoring the dead bodies.

But Hana couldn't handle it. "This..." Her voice broke. "Hana. Did you join a military branch?" You ask, calmly racing down the stairs.

"Garrison." She answered.

"So you don't really see much Titans anymore?"

"Actually, I've killed a few since I've joined." She chuckled. "I know. A person like me...killing? Taking lives?"

You stayed quiet.

"Titans may be horrible, but I'm still taking lives." She continued, running down the stairs. "I'm still a murderer. I can live with that."

You gave her a questioning look. "I'm a murderer too."

Hana didn't respond.

Finally, you both reached the bottom of the stairs. You grabbed her hand. "C'mon, Hana!"

You ran towards Levi, already spotted him. But Hana, didn't see him yet. "Hold on, (Y/N)." She stopped to gather her breath.

"But Hana. He's right there."

She looked up, her eyes wide. "Levi!" She screamed, running towards him. You covered your ears a bit too late, and gave Levi a smile.

Levi's expression was shocked as he stared at the woman in-front of him. "Hana?" He asked.

She beamed at him, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I'm back, Levi."

___

It happened.

Eren defeated Annie.

Relief flooded you when you heard the news. You were sitting on Levi's desk, listening to Hana with Levi by your side.

"I've missed you guys so much." She stopped, and stepped back. "What are you doing?" You laugh.

"I'm finally completing my picture." She grinned back, the same half-smirk, half-smile she perfected way back when she was a child.

"Your picture?" You asked.

"Of our reunion." She said, still smiling. "It's been ten whole years."

'Ten years...'

"Oh, I missed you too." You grabbed her close, and gave her a tight hug, feeling something wet on your cheek.

"Hey...stop crying." You said, turning your face away from her and letting go. Levi spoke up. "You're still a crybaby."

She raised her head. "I just can't believe I found you guys."

"Stop it." You mutter a bit bashfully, as Hana bent down and looked up at your face, her eyes closed and petting you on the head.

'Jeez.'
