You stood awkwardly at the corner of the hall where Hana had just passed you seconds ago.

"(Y/N). Come in." A voice commanded from Levi's room.

You wince, and edge away.

"Don't try to hide, you brat. I know you're there."

You rake a hand through your hair, and calm yourself down before entering.

"Lev." You greet him as you take a seat on his bed, swinging your legs.

"Were you listening?"

You tense up. "I accidentally overheard."

"Tch."

You kept avoiding eye contact, making yourself very interested in the window.

"What do you think about Hana and I?" He suddenly asked.

You spoke slowly, carefully choosing your words. "I think...it's quite interesting."

"Interesting?" He raised his eyebrow. "In what way is it interesting?"

You gave him a sideways glance. "I think it's because she loves you with all her heart- yet she ran away from you."

'My chest hurts.'

"You..."

You stopped swinging your legs. "Lev...Hana isn't Petra. If you decide to accept her- just don't use her as Petra's substitute."

'Shut it, (Y/N). Shut up.'

You abruptly left the room.

___

You sighed, staring up at the ceiling. You lay on your bed, listening to the peaceful silence.

'Does Levi...like Petra?'

That simple question was enough to torment your brain. Those four words. Other thoughts ran through your mind.

'I'm tired.'

'I should see a doctor.'

'My chest...it hurts...it stings.'

"Stopppp." You rolled around on your bed, accidentally crashing down to the floor.

"(Y/N)?"

The door opened. "What happened?" Mikasa poked her head through the door, a concerned look on her face.

"Mikasa! You're a medic, aren't you? Come here, come here." You urgently patted the area next to you on the floor.

She hesitantly walked over, and shut the door behind her. "I'm not really a medic..." She trailed off.

"I'm sure you can help me. You see- my chest hurts a lot." You softly said, aware of the sudden awkwardness.

"Your chest?" She tilted her head. "Are you...growing?"

You turned red at her words, and shook your head violently. "No, of course not!"

"You can't just say your chest hurts and think that I know exactly what's wrong with you." She said, sighing.

"It hurts sometimes when I'm around Hana and Levi." You added, cautiously. "Am I allergic to them?"

"Don't think it's possible to be allergic to humans, (Y/N)."

You threw your hands up in frustration. "Then what could it be?"

She stayed silent for a few moments. "I can't help you." She finally said.

"Don't worry, Mikasa." You said, a bit disappointed. "I'm sure I can find out from someone."

"Maybe try Eren?"

___

"And that's why I need your help." You finished, looking at Eren. You had just finished telling him everything you told Mikasa.

"Do you like Levi?" He asked, quizzically. "Of course." You replied, "he's my friend."

"No- as in love."

"Oh, like the love-relationship thing Hana taught me about?" You ask.

"Good. So you know at least a little." He muttered.

"Hey!" You protested, "I heard that."

"Just kidding." He laughed. "But maybe you seriously love them if your heart starts hurting?"

"...Love? Levi?" Your eyes widened.

'Could it be?'

"I see how it is." Eren mused.

"What?" You ask, putting your personal thoughts away for later.

"Nothing." He said, a bit too cheerily. "I just thought of how much you guys are compatible."

"And?"

"I think it's alright."

You lightly punch him, watching a grin alight his face. "Oh shut up." You laughed, as he punched your arm back.

___

'Love?'

'Love...what is love?'

'Will it...benefit me in any way?'

'Or is it useless?'

You were sitting on the ground, and leaning against a tall tree. You slowly closed your eyes.

"I wonder who Levi likes?"
