Hands curled into fists; raging sharp eyes; a widened stance. Perhaps that's what nerved Jin beyond all thought. This situation went better inside his head.
"H-hey..." His pale eyes fixed on the young woman before him. She was glowering; angry; a hint of a sanguine look.
After an attempt to clear his throat, Jin seemed to regain his senses. "Hey now, I told you already!" Jin's petulant expression irritated (Y/N) even more.

"It's not my fault!" Jin's hand shot out and grabbed your wrist- stopping your swinging motion- his eyes went wide and he grabbed your face with his two hands and forced you too look up at him.
As you tore away from him, wiping away the blurriness of your vision, his smugness seemed to drain away.
"(Y/N)?"
"I don't want do that! I-It doesn't matter what it is...I don't want to do that to Levi." You shook your head violently.
Jin's petulant disappeared along with the curve that had appeared on the bottom of his face. He had a look of nostalgia as he stared at you with wild eyes.
He seemed perpetually disturbed.
"What is it?" Jin asked, scornfully, "what is it that I don't have?"
'...Excuse me?'
'Y'know, I actually don't really appreciate your face anymore. If you could just leave for like three seconds and never come back, that'd be great.'
"What does that person have that I don't?" The pale-eyed man caught the bright sunlight in his eyes and they shone brilliantly.
His lips barked sharp words, "I didn't ask for this- I didn't ask for my girlfriend to forget about everything!"
'G-g-girlfriend!?'
Jin faced you. "It's like you're not even the (Y/N) that I know." His words were spat out and poison-like.
'Well, excuse me for having my 3DMG malfunction.'
You couldn't answer him- your throat was dry as a desert; you didn't really know what you would actually say to Jin anyway. There was too much.
A moment after your silence, he shook his head. "Forget it, forget everything I just said." Jin mumbled an apology, "sorry."
You silently stared at him, before letting your gaze drop to the ground; letting your head shake just a bit.
___
Jin ended up having to stay over for the week. Despite all his attempts to try and refuse your dad, Jin found that he just couldn't keep saying no.
Having to settle in your bedroom, the silence over the two of you was unnerving and almost like silence between strangers.
'With Levi, I used to think that silence was something comfortable...but with Jin-'
Rustling sounds in the dark made your eyes pop open, your body tensed up. More shuffling was heard as the figure that lay in the bed across from you stood up.
You heard the door creak open before his footsteps disappeared into the hall.
Slowly sitting up, you cocked your head to listen for more sounds before disappearing after him. You watched as he took a seat in one of the chairs at the table.
As he rested his arms across his chest, Jin's gaze fell to outside where the moon was shining beautifully.
For a split second, your heart skipped and you felt a nostalgic wave sweep over you. For where Jin sat, there seemed to be a layer of shimmering moonlight that lit his skin up.
The glow seemed to shine down at him through the window- lighting him up as if Jin had just stood under a spotlight.
Jin's eyes were directed down and you could glimpse his long eyelashes that shaded his soft; light; pale eyes that seemed to contain oh, so many colors.
You mentally slapped yourself. 'Stop checking him out! We haven't even officially been here for a day, and already you're practically cheating on Lev!'
'...might as well go back to bed.' You gave Jin one quick glance. As soon as you did, you wish you hadn't- for what greeted you made your blood run cold.
Between Jin's thin, pale fingers was a small silver ring. He twirled it between his fingers as he tiredly looked outside at the darkness that was before him.
A dull pain ran through your head-
'Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!'
'Shit, shit, shit, shit!'
You pressed your fingers against your head. Whatever that ring was, it nerved you beyond thought. Your head pounded, a sharp sound rang in your ears.
Twelve seconds passed, then thirty and forty- whatever it had been, it slowly left your brain. Releasing the pressure from your fingers, you shook your head for one final time.
'Fuck me, what was that!?'
Throwing a final look over your shoulders, you tiptoed back into your room and slid under the cool sheets.
'Whatever that was...'
'It hurt like hell.'
'...but was that?'
'A ring?'
You curled up as if trying to preserve body heat, and closed your eyes trying to fall asleep before Jin would come back into the room.
