"Hey Armin!" You happily called out to your friend. You waved at him, your arm still ached from yesterday.

"(Y/N), are you okay? I heard about a woman attacking a Survey Corps member." Armin said, worriedly.

"Oh, don't worry." You reassured him. "I'm fine."

"Wait- you got attacked?!"

"I mean...I'm fine now..." You watched as Armin grabbed your arm, pulling you towards the Infirmary.

"W-wait!" You hurriedly rushed to explain. "Levi looked at it for me. I'm okay- I swear!"

Armin slowed down, and let go of your arm. "Phew." He said, giving you an angelic smile.

'Armin...you're scary.'

You gave him a smile. "Hey, Amin? Have you ever been in love?" You asked him, quietly.

Armin turned to look at you. "Love?" He asked, pondering.

"Yeah. Is it something you've experienced?"

He smiled a bit. "No, I am yet to experience it. I'm looking forward to it, though. Spending my life with someone sounds romantic." He swooned.

You laugh a bit nervously. 'To be honest, spending the rest of my life with Lev sounds scary...'

"Why are you suddenly so curious about it, (Y/N)?"

Armin's voice shook you out of your nightmares of living with Levi. "Oh- I'm not sure myself."

"Who is it? I won't tell." He promised, holding up a pinky.

You linked yours through his. "It's...Levi?"

It felt nice to tell someone about Levi. Armin, however, cocked his head. "Levi-heichou?"

You nodded, your voice a quiet whisper. "You promised not to tell," you reminded him.

He nodded firmly. "A promise is a promise!"

Later that day, you realize you accidentally told a bunch of people including Hanji, Mikasa, Eren, and Armin.

'They won't tell. Right?'

'Oh, and Hana likes Levi too...what should I do?'

You found yourself at Hana's door, your hand poised and ready to knock. You took a deep breath.

"Hana?" You ask, knocking on her door. She opened it. "Yeah?" She asked, happily.

'Even though she looked like she was depressed...she looks fine now.'

"Are you okay?" You hesitantly ask. She nods enthusiastically. "Yeah! What's up? Come in!" She opened the door for you, and closed it after you went inside.

"Truth is- Hana...I like Levi." You quietly said. She froze for a moment, that excuse of a smile plastered on her face.

"Oh really?" She asked, her hands shaking as she reached for her canister of water.

You waited as she took a gulp of water. "That's nice." She said with a shrug. "It's always like this anyway." She said with a mutter.

You raised your head. "What do you mean?"

Her hands clenched into fists. "You always get him. It's unfair." She hiccuped.

You look at her concernedly. "Are you okay?"

She continued, "It's never me. When you fell off the Titan that day- Levi almost shattered."

"It would never happen to me. He'd never do that if I died."

She looked at you, with her tear-filled eyes. "I never had a chance."

You hesitated before speaking. 'Levi....'

"Hana...you've loved Levi for a long time, huh?"

She nodded mutely with a bitter smile.

"Only just a few days ago I discovered what love is." You started, carefully choosing your words.

She sighed softly. "And look where that got you."

"I don't want to give up this first love." You said firmly. "By all means- go ahead and try Levi."

Hana gave an almost seemingly tired smirk. "Oh my- is that a declaration of love?"

You looked at her with a startled expression. "A what?"

She sighed again. "I can't take you seriously when you know almost nothing."

You, indignantly, stared at her. "Excuse me." And abruptly left the room. While you were almost out the door, you heard Hana's voice.

"I won't give up on my first love either."
