You watched Mikasa train with Levi.

It was morning, bright...and freaking early.

Soon, it would be your turn with Levi. You tiredly close your eyes, and lean against the backboard of a prop Titan.

"Last try."

You opened one eye when you heard Mikasa's voice. "Just one more time." She said.

Levi sighed, but readied his defensive stance. "No matter how many times you try. The result will always be the same."

You lowered your eyelids, bored. After a loud thud, you stood up, and opened your eyes.

"My turn." You smile at Levi. "It's a pleasure, Lev." You called him by his nickname.

He didn't respond, but watched you carefully. You suddenly ran to him, abandoning all conscience.

You grin as he swings his foot under you. "You haven't changed." You said, leaping over his leg, and grabbing his arm.

He yanks his arm away from you, and skidded a few feet away.

"Neither have you." He said, his eyes glimmering with a familiar look.

"Why thanks." You responded, ducking as he swung his leg above you. "It's not a compliment," he said.

"You're still being cold to me?" You said with false hurt. He didn't hesitate to grab you by the arm, and flip you.

"Shit..." You grimace, and laugh on the ground, trying to ignore the pain. "Well. You won."

Levi stopped, and looked down at you. "If you're crying, don't hide your tears, stupid. If it hurts just tell me."

"I'm not even crying!" You protested.

"I only won because you're not trying hard enough." Levi answered, dusting himself off, and walking away.

"See you at breakfast," you called to him- not expecting an answer back.

"Don't eat too much."

You wanted to slap that amused look right off his face.
___

"Sasha. Stop." You laugh, exasperated. She was staring at your bread again, practically drooling everywhere.

"Are you-"

"Yes."

She drooped a little, but didn't drop her gaze. You sighed, and quickly ate the bread, and soup.

"Where's Levi?" You ask, looking around.

"I don't know. He didn't wake up yet?" Armin said, eating his own bread.

"Be right back." You abruptly got up, and left the table, looking for him.

'Did you go back to your room? ...Levi.'

"Levi?" You push open his door without knocking.

There, at his desk, sat Levi, peacefully slumbering on documents. But the picture just seemed wrong.

You rushed to his side, and put your hand on his forehead. 'Hot...'

"I'll be right back with some water and towels," you said, almost out the door.

"I'm...fine." A groggy voice said.

"Shut up and let me take care of you." You muttered, hurrying away.

You quickly retrieved the water and towels, and returned to Levi's room. As you opened the door, you saw his face twisted into an uncomfortable expression.

You dip the towel into the water. "See, this is why I don't wake up early." You said, gently laying the cool towelette on his forehead.

"I'm fine. Mind your own business." He mumbled, his face red from the fever. "Only an idiot would leave someone like this..." You mumbled.

"You are an idiot. Now leave." He said, standing up, but still wobbling under his weight.

"Sit back down." You sigh, and gently guide him to the neat bed. "Should I get some food?"

"Not hungry."

You readjust the wet towelette on his forehead. "C'mon, Levi." You move him under the covers, and lay them on him.

"It's hot." He faintly said. "If I say anything weird, it's because of the fever."

"Okay, okay." You set the bowl of water on his bedside table, and knelt on the floor, your arms and head resting on the bed.

"Don't get too close. You'll get a cold too, you brat." He said, his voice struggling to keep it's usual firmness.

You smile secretly. "If I get sick because I was tending to you- I wouldn't mind."

"You're an idiot."

"You've said that already."

Silence filled the air. It wasn't the kind of silence that made you uncomfortable, but it kind of felt like the silence between a pet and owner.

You were about to stand up, and leave when a hand shot out of the covers, grasping your arm tightly. "Don't." A voice rasped weakly.

'You're like a spoiled child when you're sick. Maybe you should get sick more.'

"Yes, Captain." You said, giving him a friendly kiss on the forehead. "I was just going to get water for you."

"I don't need water."

"No. You need water. I'll be back." You said, trying to keep your voice quiet as you slipped out of the room.

You wandered into your room, scanning around for your water container. As soon as you found it, you went to refill the water, and soon arrived back at Levi's room.

"Lev?" You softly whisper, tilting the container so it reached his lips. He craned his neck forward to meet the container's edge.

But then, you spilled it everywhere.

Levi didn't say anything as he sat there, his clothes soaked. The bed seemed slightly wet.

"Oops." You laugh nervously, helping him into his desk chair. 'It's actually not that bad. His shirt's the only thing that's wet.'

You flung open his closet, and grabbed another white-button shirt. You slid off his shirt, exposing his skin.

"It's cold." He faintly said, his eyelashes fluttering open and closed. "Sorry." You lowered your voice. 'I need to keep quiet. Loud voices cause headaches.'

You couldn't help noticing his muscles that had grown since you had last saw him.

You helped him put on his shirt, and supported him to you room where you lay him down, under the covers.

"More water?" You offer, watching him shake his head.

You shuffle back to his room, letting the bed covers and his shirt dry. But you couldn't forget his shirtless self.

'Ugh, he has more muscles than me.'
