You always had a large imagination.

And now you couldn't get the picture of Hana and Levi out of your head.

You sat on the rooftop, the wind tousling your hair. "I wonder..." You softly said to yourself. "If they're going to get together?"

"Talking to yourself? Have you finally gone mad?" A voice spoke up from behind, causing you to turn.

"Lev." You watched him take a seat next to you. "Something wrong with you and Hana?" He asked.

You looked at the horizon, the sun was starting to rise. It was early in the morning.

"Hana? No, not at all." You murmured, zoning out slightly. "Don't fall asleep." Levi warned. "You'll probably fall off the roof and die."

"Wouldn't you catch me?" You asked, faintly. "Oh. I've said something weird again, haven't I?" You mused.

Levi sighed. "Not everyone is merely a net- someone secure...someone that would catch you."

He recomposed himself. "Anyway, just try not to fall asleep."

"Aye aye, Rivaille." You smiled at him, and soon found yourself stealing glances at him out of the corner of your eye.

'Why does my heart hurt?'

___

"Y'know, (Y/N)." Eren spoke up, while practicing horseback riding.

"Yeah?" You look up at him.

"I have a question." He said, while leaping over a fence with his horse.

"Question?" You repeated, concentrating on brushing the brown horse's flank.

"Right. What's between you and Levi?" He asked, causing you to accidentally dig the bristles into the horse.

The mare neighed, and turned it's head to look at you.

"What?" You asked, startled, immediately taking out the brush, and petting the horse.

"I mean- there's definitely history between you two."

You looked up at him, before returning your focus on readjusting the saddle. "Lev...and I?" You gave a small 'huh.'

"You call him Lev, too."

"We're friends." You shrugged, giving him the best smile you could muster.

He raised his eyebrow.

"We're really really just friends."

He stared at you, his face clearly said, 'I don't believe you.'

"There's nothing else to say!" You said, frustrated. "Nothing else to say." You repeated.

'There's no need...to bring that back up again.'

'Surely...you understand- right, Eren?'

"C'mon, tell me." He urged, "I'm not going to tell anyone. What's wrong?"

'Agh.'

"Will you stop bugging me if I tell you?" You ask, exasperated with his behavior and persistence.

"Duh." He said, sitting down.

"This isn't story time."

"Just tell me," he said, sighing.

"It all started that day. The day I moved in from outside of the walls. The day Levi saved my life."

'That's right...isn't it? Levi saved me.'
