"Hana. Who's Jin?" You asked, uncomfortably. Hana wore an expression full of pain. "You really don't remember Jin?"

'Think, think, think...'

Almost as if there was a barrier blocking you from your memories, a sharp pain ran through your head when you tried to recall.

Your fingers flew to your forehead, as the new sensation alarmed you.

"(Y/N)?" Hana looked alarmed. You smiled, before a grimace took over.

"So you do care about me- in the very least." You said, faltering as the pain dulled. Slowly removing your fingers from your head, you met her wavering gaze.

Hana looked shocked. "N-no, I...I don't care about you! Or anything!! You're...you're just imagining it..." She muttered, frowning.

You smiled a bit when you noticed the tips of her ears were bright red.

"Sure, sure."

"I'm being serious, here!"
___

"Jin...Jin...Jin...?" You tried repeating his name- wondering if you would ever remember anything about him.

You lay in your bed, staring up at the ceiling.

'Jin.'

'Who in tarnation is Jin?'

'...oh dear, what other precious memories have I lost...?'

You slung an arm over your eyes, and enveloped yourself in the darkness as you desperately tried to remember Jin.

And as darkness fell, you found yourself still questioning about Jin's identity and your missing memories.

___

When you woke up, you almost fell out of bed. Your leg was half-way off the bed, and your arms were ungracefully slung.

'Food...'

You stumbled out of your bed, and pulled on your clothes.

When you shut your bedroom door, you were about to leave, when you noticed that Levi didn't wake you up today.

You creaked open the door to Levi's room.

He didn't appear to be up yet.

"Hey...Levi?" You confusedly looked into the dark room, your gaze at the big lump under the blankets that you guessed was Levi.

"It's time to get up," you groaned when you saw him in his bed.

You gently closed the door behind you, and walked to him.

And as you did, you noticed something was off.

Levi's breathing was ragged. And when you were close enough, you could see that his face was twisted in pain.

A sharp groan left his mouth.

"Levi?" You shook him. "Wake up." You shook him some more, causing his hand to grip your wrist, and his eyes flew open.

"Gah!" He gasped, fear swimming in his eyes. It slowly disappeared, however as he focused his eyesight.

"(Y/N)?"

"Hey." You greeted him. "Nightmare?" You touched his forehead.

Levi shook his head, and brought a hand through his hair. "Nothing. It's nothing."

He reached up, and roughly grabbed your hand.

"You're real." He stated, with relief.

"Yes, yes I'm very real." You said. You leaned down, and placed a small kiss on his forehead.

He reached up, and his arms wrapped around your neck, bringing your face closer.

Your lips locked with his, and your hands tugged through his hair, feeling the softness run through your fingers.

Then, you slowly removed yourself from him- your faces were only inches apart.

His sharp eyes narrowed as he looked up at you. "What are you doing in my room?"

You moved to his window, and drew the curtains. A filtered sunlight peered inside- illuminating the room.

"Oh...I was about to eat breakfast." You answered him, nonchalantly. "C'mon. Get up." You watched as the sunlight blinded his eyes.

"Get out of my room," he growled, causing you to frown. "Oh, seriously now?" Sighing, you left his room and the door clicked shut behind you.

You were leaning against his door, when you spotted Hanji. "Oh, (Y/N)!" She excitedly waved.

Lazily, you gave her a salute. "Hanji-heichou," you greeted her.

Hanji looked surprised. She leaned in. "Ooh, you're finally being respectful towards your elders!"

You frowned. "It's not like I wasn't respectful before..." As you told the truth, you saw Hanji's curiosity start to peek through.

"Why are you standing in-front of-"

"No reason," you answered, sweetly, "aren't you hungry, Hanji-heichou? You should go eat."

You pushed her towards the mess hall. "Go eat breakfast."

She walked towards the noisy hall. After a few seconds, she turned around. "Hurry up and get Levi out of his room!" She yelled.

"Oh, Hanji-!"

She turned around just in time, nearly colliding into Connie- who was running out of the hall.

"Whoop!" Hanji gave a laugh of glee and danced out of his way.

"Sorry!" Connie yelled.

You watched amusedly, leaning against the door.

And you heard something click- and you fell backwards onto the hard ground- as the door opened.

"Tch."

"Oh hey. Levi," you greeted him.

___

After breakfast, it was decided that a group would go out and fetch some newly bred horses.

Outside the walls.

"This isn't worth it," you said, as you and your horse stood in-front of the gates.

"Then we don't have any other supplies." Eren said, gripping the reins.

You pulled your cape over your head. "Breed our own horses."

You fell into a silence as Levi shifted in his seat.

As the gates rose, and the horses began moving, you muttered...

"Goddammit this is a bad idea."

___

Do you like the new cover?

Anyway. Let's pretend (somehow) it's possible to go outside and get the horses.

(It's probably not)
