Danny

"God, Lindsay is desperate."

Anthony rolled his eyes. "Trust me, I know. She tried hitting on me too."

"She knows that I'm married."

"That doesn't stop some girls, I mean look at Valentina and..."

I scowled at Anthony. "She's different."

"Sorry, that's not what I meant."

"I feel like she doesn't trust me."

"I mean... Why should she? You cheated on her with her best friend?"

"We all make mistakes, man. That's my past and I have moved on. Valentina and our children are the only things that matter to me now."

"Just keep that in mind when she tries to hit on you again tomorrow."

Right as Anthony and I went to leave, I saw Lindsay standing near her car. "She should've left hours ago."

Anthony shook his head. "Ignore her."

Once I got in my car, Lindsay approached me. "Hi! How was your day?"

"Look, I know what you're doing and it's not working."

Lindsay smirked. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"I have a wife and children. I have no time or interest in cheating on her."

She smiled and put her hand on my arm. "That's for now."

Shaking my head, I rolled my window up and drove home. I knew that she was the reason that Valentina has been irritated lately. But she had no reason to worry. Lindsay was far too desperate, and I had no intentions to cheat ever again.

Valentina

My phone had vibrated at least ten times, and I knew it was Lindsay blowing up my phone. Giving her my number was most definitely a mistake, especially having her brag about my husband.

He's so hot!

Valentina: Focus on your job, Lindsay.

Lindsay: He'll fuck me soon, I just know it!

Valentina: Stop being so needy.

Lindsay: When I see something I like, I go for it :)

Valentina: Stop texting me, Lindsay.

Just after I sent that text, Danny opened the front door with a bag of food. "Hey, babe. I got dinner from Texas Roadhouse."

"Sounds good."

He put the bag on the table and grabbed plates out of the cupboard. "Where are the kids?"

"They are in their rooms but I know they are starving."

"I'll go get them, do you mind putting the food on the table?"

"Yeah, sure."

After he went upstairs, I texted Micah. He hasn't been acting strange at all.

Micah: See? I told you, Valentina. Maybe he has truly changed his ways.

Valentina: Has she texted you?

Micah: She won't shut the hell up about Danny.

Valentina: She needs to stay away from him.

Micah: Girls who are needy like that aren't attractive. She might be pretty, but I'm starting to get sick and tired of her crap.

Valentina: You and me both.

"Babe, do you want to talk about what's been going on?"

I turned around and realized that Danny was standing behind me. "Umm..."

"We can talk about this when the kids are done eating."

After dinner and the kids were in bed, Danny sighed. "There's something bothering you. What is it?"

"Do you want me to be honest?"

"Always."

"It's about Lindsay."

Danny shook his head. "I figured she was the cause of this."

"She won't stop!"

"Babe, trust me. She's doing the same shit with Anthony."

"She needs to stop before I do something about it."

"Tell me about it. Anthony and I are getting just as pissed. It infuriates me how Jack never even discussed this with either William or myself."

"I just am scared, Danny."

Danny raised his eyebrows. "Of what?"

"That you would cheat on me again."
