After a successful win, I took a shower and met Dale outside of the locker when I noticed the familiar redhead who attended every game standing next to some other fans.

When she saw me, a smile formed on her face. "Hi! Congratulations on your win."

"Thank you."

"I didn't really think I would have the opportunity to speak to you, but my friends and I were thinking about going to Buffalo Wild Wings and I was wondering if maybe you guys would want to come."

"Sure. I would never turn a meal down."

"Great. We'll see you guys in a little bit then?"

"Sounds good."

After she left with her friends, I noticed Dale staring at one of her friends. "I think we hit the jackpot tonight."

"What do you mean?"

"Umm four hot girls, hello? Would you really turn that down?"

"I mean yeah, she's pretty but I still have a girlfriend."

Tyler rolled his eyes and patted my shoulder. "Let's just enjoy the night, alright?"

"Yeah."

I knew how much it pissed Tyler and Dale off considering that I was still with Lexie, but I was never a man to break a girl's heart.

As expected, we were surrounded by a few people asking for autographs the moment we sat down and after I signed a few pieces of paper, Tyler put a stop to it. "Alright guys, that's enough for the night. We would like to have a meal in peace."

One of the fans looked pissed, but Tyler seemed satisfied as everyone left the table.

"Do you have to always be rude, man? They were just being nice."

Tyler shook his head. "I just would like to have a meal without having multiple people standing around our table the whole entire time."

"So, I never caught your name."

The redhead sat across from me and smiled. "Mya."

"Nice to meet you."

"Likewise. I am glad that I have a chance to actually have a one-on-one conversation with you. I've been a huge fan of yours for a while."

"Were you too shy to speak to me before?"

"Very."

"Well, I don't bite."

She laughed. "I know."

"So, how long have you been a fan?"

"Well, I moved to Dallas fifteen years ago and my dad really was the one who introduced hockey to me. But it's not really the same anymore."

"Why's that?"

"He passed away two years ago."

"Oh, I am sorry to hear that."

"It's okay."

"Do you have any siblings?"

"Yes, but my brother lives in Tulsa now. How about you?"

"My sister is 26."

"Are you guys close?"

"We always have been."

"It's hard not having my older brother around sometimes."

I looked at my phone, noticing that it was almost midnight and put money on the table. "I am going to head out, it was nice meeting you."

Mya nodded. "Likewise. If you would like to hang out again, I'd love to."

"Sure."

"Great." She grabbed my unlocked phone and put her number in. "Call me."

After I left and arrived at my apartment, I saw six shopping bags sitting on the floor and Lexie appeared out of the bedroom. "Here's your card, babe."

"What?"

"I figured I didn't need to ask to use your card."

"It would have been nice if you asked first."

"You'd say no."

"Well, maybe that is because it's my money."

"It's getting late, babe. Are you coming to bed?"

I grabbed my Xbox remote and sat on the couch. "Not yet."

"Babe, you've been gone for hours. I also bought some lingerie that I figured

you'd want to see."

"Doesn't matter."

Lexie scowled. "Don't be such a party pooper, Mav."

"I'm not. I haven't been able to play in a few days."

"I'd rather you spend time with me instead."

I ignored her and as I was halfway through, she got on her knees in front of me and took my sweatpants off. "Lexie..."

"Shh..."

Despite how much I hated her controlling behavior, she sure knew how to please me. I shut my Xbox off and took her to the bedroom, picking up where we left off and after a few hours of vigorous sex, I finished inside of her and fell asleep shortly after.
