Coming through with my words, I actually brought him food. I made some eggs and sausages and grabbed a bottle of water. I need something that's gonna go through him fast, and what better than greasy crap like sausages?

I walked inside the room with the plate, and the smell of food made him look up. He is starving. He has to after days of not eating a thing.

'Lunch time.' I wave the plate, walking over to him

He eyed the food and water with his tired eyes, then hung his head.
'Rat poison?' He mumbled

'That would kill you. I told you that I'm not killing you yet. It's just food. Here.'

I tore off a piece of sausage and ate it in front of him. He watched me swallow it down before I opened the water bottle and took a sip. Just to show him that it's safe. And it only confused him more, with good reason.

'Want it, or should I feed my dog instead?' I ask, tilting my head

His stomach grumbled at the smell, his body fighting his brain. But there's only so much you can do.

I stabbed the sausage with the fork, bringing it to his lips, and he hesitated for a moment before taking the smallest bite, still suspicious of it.

This is also sort of a torture. When you break someone so much that even the simplest of things seem dangerous... there's a certain satisfaction that comes with watching your victim fear you.

He chewed it slowly, unable to swallow it properly. His throat must be dry like Sahara desert.

'My bad.' I put the plate aside, opening the water and tipping it to his mouth, and for this, there was no hesitation. He drank it like he hadn't seen water in years, swallowing the bottle in a matter of seconds.

The deepest breath of relief and satisfaction left his chapped, bloody lips, and his eyes closed for a moment.

'Ready for food now?'

His tired but desperate nod made my chest buzz with joy. He's so pathetically desperate.

I fed him the rest of it, which he swallowed down like a dog, gulping the food without even chewing it properly.

'Now, let's have that little talk.' I sigh as I drop the plate on the table, listening to it ring as it spins faster and faster until it lays flat against the flat surface. 'Tell me who else you've been working with, and I'll feed you more. Don't, and I'll bring a bigger cactus.'

He started shaking at the mere mention of a plant, gritting his teeth to stop them from clattering. If he were to survive, he would have a phobia of cactuses for the rest of his life. I'm sure he will be afraid of them in every next life, if he's ever reincarnated or whatever he believes in.

'I don't know. I can't know what Yu Min changed while I was gone.'

'I don't care about what he changed. I need to know what was before. Don't get me wrong, I am just saving time in going out to find out on my own. Why should I run around when I've got the information vault right here?'

'And why should I tell you? You have things you'd fight for till your dying breath. I do, too.'

'If you told me this a few months ago, I would agree. Wholeheartedly. But seeing how your organisation took the only thing in this world I ever loved, I have nothing left to fight for anymore.' I took a closer step, getting in his face as much as I could. 'And taking her from me, you made the biggest mistake of your lives. I will cut you down, one by one, with my own two hands. I will take every single life that ever came in contact with any of you. I'm going to find her. And then I'm going to get to Shadow. When I do, I will put him through more suffering than you've gone through. I will make sure he feels every speck of pain I ever felt. And once I deem it's enough, I'm going to take my own life and go with her.'
