I know what I need to do, but I can't do it if he's not here.
I went up to our room, with my hand shaking on the doorknob for 5 minutes before I walked inside.
The scent of the shower gel I always used filled the room as the bathroom doors were open, and steam was coming out.
There was no sound. No water. Not a thing.
'Jimin?' I called softly, afraid I'd run into him when he's naked, but no response
I knocked on the bathroom door, and when no response came from there, I walked in and found it just as empty.
I finally gathered some courage to face him, and he's gone with the wind.
*knock knock knock*
'Rain, you in there?'Taehyung's voice echoed from the other side of the door, so I opened them, and saw him standing in front with a smile.
'Jimin said he'll be back soon, but I thought you might wanna eat something.'
He's gone somewhere. That was damn fast.
'I probably should.' I agreed, or more precisely, my stomach agreed. I ate only hours ago when Jimin cooked at 2 in the morning, and I'm hungry again.
'I would have dragged you out anyway.' He gave me his boxy smile, and walked downstairs with me, with all the guys already at the table, and giving me a small applause.
'Here she is! Back from the dead!' Yoongi raised his coffee like he's toasting
'Spied her way out.' Jin winks at me
Their jokes made my entire insides bloom with warmth and fuzziness. The feeling I haven't felt in a long time. That feeling of calmness that seems foreign to me right now, yet so familiar by the second I spend with them.
'I missed you guys.' I smile as much as I can, having them beam back at me
'Come on. Sit down. Let us stare at you and make you feel uncomfortable.' Hoseok cracked up at his own joke, and honestly, made me laugh a little
'Imma stare from up close.' Jungkook giggled almost creepily and slid into the chair next to me, fighting Gyumin for it. I guess those two get along.
Well, they weren't kidding. They stared at me like I'm an actual ghost, but I can't really blame them. I understand them. Jungkook might actually burn a hole in my face. I think he can count every eyelash of mine with how close he's leaning in, but he's only doing it to make me laugh.
For the first time in months, I felt good. I felt like I was getting a little piece of myself back. Just eating breakfast with my family. And the most important person just walked in.
The front door closed, and whatever I was about to put in my mouth, I dropped in on my plate and stood up like I was electrocuted, turning towards the sound.
Those few silent steps of his faded to nothing as he came into sight, and then stopped walking.
Standing only 10 feet away, drenched in the darkness of his clothing, the flowers he was holding were like a thorn in the eye. Can't miss them. And I can't miss their meaning.
He only stopped for a moment to look at me, and in a few long, confident strides, he was standing before me.
Those gorgeous, chocolate eyes were gazing into mine with so many unapoken words. His lips in a perfect, tight line, like he's fighting a smile, and I really want to see him smile. Truly smile. And I wish the cut on those perfect lips wasn't there. But, that's not what got my attention the most.
