JIMIN POV
I can't eat. I'm getting full just watching her eat. Watching her in general.
We're in the middle of nowhere. On top of the hill, which is smothered in darkness, and besides the full moon out, no light up here whatsoever. And even though there's no light, looking at her is like looking at the sun.
Both hands holding onto that burger like her life depends on it. Sauce and grease glistening in the weak light as it glides down her chin, threatening to fall on her shirt. She's got more fries on her lap than she does in her fry box, purely because she's inhaling them. I'm pretty sure a piece of a bun is sticking out of her hair, but I don't dare to remove it. I swear she's never been more beautiful.
She took the biggest bite, nearly biting the paper the burger was wrapped up in, and shoved fries in there somehow, and then she looked at me. Both cheeks so full and puffy that she can barely close her mouth. All greasy and messed up, and all I want to do is kiss her head to toe. My little chipmunk.
She finally noticed the state of her, and started laughing at herself, turning away so I couldn't see her face. But it was way too late.
Hearing her laugh, even if she's mostly choking on food, is the most beautiful sound to me. She's laughing.
'You should be eating, not watching me.' She scolded me jokingly, covering her mouth so nothing fell out as she mumbled
'Multitasking.' I tease her, biting into a fry
'I look like an absolute mess.' She muttered and wiped her chin, noticing the oil glistening on the back of her hand. 'I'm a pig.'
'You're beautiful.'
She stopped chewing, swallowing down harshly to clear her throat. Even in the dark, I could see her cheeks turning darker, and then she looked down at her food to avoid me staring.
But this is how it goes. I say or do something that makes her flustered, and she looks away. Then I look away, and she starts her staring session, which I pretend not to notice.
Maybe if she looks long enough, she will want to be closer. She'll want to touch me. Kiss me. Tell me she loves me, too.
I'm dying to hear it. I can see it in her eyes, and I would still put my life on any line to say that she loves me, but I just want to hear her say it. I need to hear it.
'You're still the most beautiful person I've ever seen. You always will be.'
Her soft tone nearly melted me in my seat. It definitely made my skin prickle with goosebumps.
I looked at her and she didn't look away. She kept her gaze on mine, smiling at me instead. Her perfect lips in a perfect line, the corners curved up slightly.
'Even with this hair?' I hum, secretly digging my fingers into my thigh to stop myself from flying over the seat and kissing her
She smiled wider, eyes twinkling with the moonlight.
'Yes. With any hair. With no hair. It would not change a thing.''You wanna know why I did it?' I ask and she nodded lightly, turning a bit in her seat towards me
'You told me to. I heard you telling me to do it because I kept getting blood in my hair. First place I went to was the grave. I wanted to show you.'
'I think the ghost me gives good advice.' She turned it into a bit of a light joke, probably not wanting to fall into that deep pit of despair
'I much prefer having the real you than just your voice. As much as the sound calmed me down in times when I truly needed it, nothing comes close to having you here. Seeing you. Feeling you...' I lifted my hand, reaching to touch her face, but stopped halfway
