"Beomgyu?" Beomgyu glances over his door as he watches his dad peek through the gap of it, soon welcoming himself inside the brunette's room.
"Hey dad-" Beomgyu smiles. "Just returned from the hospital? It's past 1am." Beomgyu says.
Beomgyu's dad nods, letting out a yawn after. "Had to settle a surgery. Actually, before I go to bed, just wanted to ask how's the volunteering going?"
Beomgyu shrugs his shoulders. "I haven't started, but since it's the weekend tomorrow, I might search around."
"How about volunteering at the hospital? They're searching for volunteers to handle the nursery there. You're good with kids, what about you try it out?" Despite his drooping tired eyes, Beomgyu's eyes light up upon hearing what his dad had said.
Beomgyu nods his head diligently. "Oh my gosh, yes please. When can I start??" "Tomorrow."

He regrets sleeping past 1am, but if he didn't, he wouldn't be up at dawn, taking a shower to prepare his first day of volunteering at the hospital.
If you ask Beomgyu, this was way better than volunteering at other places. Probably the only one he's genuine about. He grew up with a surgeon as his father after all, even if he didn't want to be a doctor, he definitely aspires to be as successful as his dad.
