"I was raised to be a soldier, ain't no tears , nigga. Wipe em off your face and hit your square, nigga. I told em it would happen, I prepared niggas. Let's try to make a million, shit, I dared niggas."

"Damn I hope it don't rain." He thought.

Pulling into the driveway , he looked up at the sky again and sighed. Fuck was this?
It was the perfect day to put sum' on the grill.

Turning around he looked at all the groceries in the backseat.

"I know I ain't buy all this shit for nothing. Ion even know why I'm saying shit like niggas not gon' come regardless." He said out loud.

He jumped at the sound of the knock on his window. Looking out he could see Tina.

"Aye man , you almost got hurt." He said.

Rolling her eyes and folding her arms across her chest, she looked him up and down.

"I don't even believe that. You're taking too long with the groceries. I've really wanted to make this pie." She said while opening the back door.

Facing front, he couldn't help but to smile at that. It was like she knew how to cook any and everything.

She has been with him for years. She was more like a mother to him than what her position was. It evolved from her being his home cook to him willing to do anything for her. There was nothing that she couldn't get from him.

Tina was loyal. Trustworthy. She has been through a lot in the past. More than she should've been put through anyway.

"Can you make an apple pie. If not today then tomorrow? I've been craving it lately." He said getting out his car.

"I'll think about it. Will Akashaa be coming over? I do miss her."

There was a wave of emotions going through him. They haven't been speaking since the whole shit with Devianna.

"I honestly don't know."

"You sound sad."

"I am."

Tina couldn't help but to feel sorry for him. He fucked up with her. Everybody knew that. She never liked Devianna from the start. All she wanted was his money.

"Well come on son. It looks like it's going to rain."

He groaned at the thought of that.

"Fuck."

✨✨✨

You could hear the chatter and the laughter coming from outside. This shit turned out exactly how he wanted it to. No rain.

"Where this nigga at!?" He heard come from outside his bedroom door.

What the fuck?

Peaking outside his door, there stood an angry Lyric. It looked like shorty had fumes coming out of her ears.

Barging in, he could feel the heat radiating off of her. Or at least that's how it seemed in his head. He was confused as to what pissed her off.
