"Leave it in Gods hands."
Jahvon paced around his kitchen. All he could think about was how he was going to approach King. He couldn't help but to think the same thing over and over again.
Stealing from him meant he was stealing from his daughter and how could King do that when he considered her his niece?
He wondered most of all, why he got into drugs in the first place. It was like in a sense, he didn't care that he was taking from him. Just wondering what the fuck made him turn to drugs. What was the reason?
His phone ringing on the counter broke him out of his trance.
Chu was calling and it felt like he hasn't seen him in forever.
"Wassup Chu?"
"Nigga were the hell you been? I haven't talked to you in months."
That made him laugh.
"I've been working. Developing my brand. Trynna handle business. Where yo ass been?"
"Dealing with bullshit. Have you spoke to King? He hasn't been answering my calls. I wanted to chill with him this weekend. Break his pockets."
In that moment, it made him sad. Fuck what they had going on. King and Chu had a brotherly relationship. For him to not answer his calls, made him feel some type of way.
"Nah we haven't spoken. You tried Trey or Ryan?"
"Yeah I ended up going to see Ryan. Yall cool?" He asked.
Jah didn't want to let him know what was going on because he felt like it had nothing to do with him. He didn't want to jeopardize their brotherhood but it seems like King was doing that.
"Everything is cool. How's school? You keeping your grades up?"
"School is school. Some of my teachers be pissing me off. I still got mostly B's and a couple A's. Not going to lie, my math teacher be looking like she trynna do sumn'. She bad as fuck."
He couldn't do nothing but shake his head and laugh. Leave it up to Chu to say some crazy shit like that.
"You stupid. Don't get that lady fired. Im proud of you though. Finish the semester off strong and ima get you that Benz."
"Bribing me with a car you was gon' get me anyway is crazy. Make it a Maybach."
"Get the fuck out of here! Let me see what them grades looking like then maybe I'll consider."
Jah continued to talk on the phone with Chu before he went to wake Akashaa.
The fuck was she tryna sleep in for?

Akashaa was out on the patio smoking, trying to clear her mind. She needed to take a minute away from her reality. Javon had expressed to her earlier that he wanted to speak with King.
It was like she knew how it was going to end and she didn't want to think about it. Everything about the conversation made her feel uneasy. He had asked her to choose again and she refused to.
How could she? She's known King longer than she's known Jah. She shared different bonds with both of them. Losing him would be losing a piece of her childhood. He was a big part of it.
"How the fuck could he make me choose?" She asked herself quietly.
It just seemed like no matter how hard she tried to distance herself from it, she always seems to be sucked back in.
