“By swallowing evil words unsaid,
no one has ever harmed his stomach.”
– Winston Churchill
Being constantly ridiculed by the so-called society including friends, family, colleagues, third persons, etc. for every little thing you do, can become an ultimate test of patience. I’m still finding ways to look at why people are so much interested in belittling others who are around them.
Before judging someone for who they are and what they do and how they behave and talk, isn’t it a necessity that the one who is judging should actually try to walk in the other person’s shoes before inflicting his/her judgment upon them?
No two person living on this planet traverses the same path of life; then, how come people start judging as though they have the control and power and rights to do so? Everyone should probably realize that whenever we are pointing finger at someone, there are four fingers that point right at us. Hence, ask the question to self, whether one is perfect enough to make
a comment on the person in front.
Words are the strongest tools that are capable of destroying a kingdom and can also create a new one out of scratch. The proverb goes ‘Think before you speak!’, and I believe in this modern lifetime, this is a must-be-followed virtue.
So, hereafter, before you make fun of someone…think; before you hurt someone on purpose or not…think. It is not a sin to say some encouraging positive things to other people, because, those simple words could mend their pains for the whole day. Such people are scarce these days. Speak words of love and care to everyone around you. Good deeds would certainly return good deeds.
