When it is raining and the drops are small, we can relish and cherish the moments till the very last droplet.
When the drops are bigger, after getting drenched in the rain for a while, it might start hurting our skins.
What if it’s raining mist? We would love the climate for sure, yes. We can even play and get wet too, but for a shorter duration than ordinary rain, because of the temperature drop. We might begin to feel the chill and
start to shiver.
Now, imagine it is pouring hails. It gives the biggest thrill, joy and peace to our minds. But, would we dare to get drenched when it’s hailing?
No, absolutely not. We’d run for cover, because we would be badly hurt when those hailstones strikes us.
So, what does nature teaches us through precipitation? Is there anything
to take away for our lives?

Yes, in fact, a very important life fact is hidden inside it. Only when we open our minds to see and grasp the hidden meaning, would we be able to incorporate them into our lives for the betterment.
Learn to suck every ounce of positive energy and bliss out of the small things in life, the happiness and contentment springing out of trivia that we often take for granted, like that no-sense conversation with your best
friend, enjoying the scenic view of the evening sky, being childish and innocent, sending love to everyone around, playing with grandparents, cooking and messing it up, trying out different things, getting out of the comfort zone once in a while to experience moments which are otherwise lost, going on trips, sleep overs and midnight rooftop conversations, laughing out loud, and so on.

We can dance in these moments and stay in them as long as it lasts or as long as we wish. We won’t be feeling tired or spent or bored. It’s plentiful around us and we tend to ignore them or chide them almost all the time.
We must stop in our tracks and rewire our idiotic speedy machines called brains to ingest one fact that also needs to be etched in our hearts - ‘It is the small things that matter most and they make up what we call life.'
As the size increases, we should also realize the rain example and learn to spend a little time drenching ourselves in them, and enjoying ourselves from admiring the experience by staying at a distance, inside our minds.
That promotion and hike, marriage, success in business, book publishing, and similar stuff for which we run. These are all really big joys
of life that we should appreciate but not linger with attachment inside our hearts for long. Learn to accept those moments with grace and be humble.

Getting inside and losing yourself in them will result in a not so happy ending.
So, run behind smaller things of life. Gather and collect as many memories as possible because those are the only things that matter in the end, nothing else does. Achieve bigger things, but stay away from the magical stage.
Be a genuine audience of your own joy, and not the protagonist which is what you actually are. This thought process and maturity will land you in haven of peace and fulfillment in life.
