Dr. Daniel Amen spoke about having a healthy brain is the most essential and vital aspect of leading a healthy and wonderful life. The very keys to attain this goal of having a healthy brain and maintaining it is in the same state include the molding process which is primarily restricted to our thoughts flow.
So, now, for the million-dollar question, which is, ‘Do we need to believe every single thought that passes through our mind?’ the realistic
answer would be a huge ‘No!’.
You should not actually believe every stupid thought that may pass through your mind. The traffic of thoughts should be kept under a watch.
Our brain is a highly complex organ and the thought trains that are traveling in a not-so-well-defined manner. Important things to keep in mind in order to maintain a healthy brain are – killing the negative, self-degrading and doubting thoughts; inject positive energy and stay positive.
How will you kill those thoughts that can leave you in ruins? No one can simply stop the negative thoughts that march right inside our heads like unwelcome guests.
One has to allow the traffic to simply flow by and not get on board in each and every vehicle of thought and take a sluggish and uncomfortably dreading ride. Never believe anything your mind says during times like
these, rather you could even trust your foe’s comments on you.
All thoughts retain power as long as they remain inside. They grow in magnitude if given time, like a tumor metastasizing throughout the body.
Pay no heed to the negative thoughts or share your burden with a close one, who understands you really well, which is very important. Once it loses that initial vigor of holding ground and enveloping your total mindset, it would soon give up and start subliming away into vacant space. It is in your hands and nobody else can do that for you, because they have restricted
access and power to enter, control and manipulate your thoughts.
