“Change your thoughts and
you change your world.”
– Norman Vincent Peale
Most of the problems that we humans face are mainly because of our reaction to them and our inner thinking about the issue. There’s a fact that many of us are aware and yet not many of us learn and use it properly. It is the art of controlling our thoughts.
Whenever we complain too much about something, we become susceptible to a lot of negativity and the mind will start to believe that everything that’s happening is wrong and feel threatened. It is all in the mind, and how we conceive a problem with our thoughts.
Mind is a really powerful player in our day to day life, and will be a partner throughout this journey of life. It is always better to have the mind on our side than to have it against us. Hence, it becomes inevitable that we learn how our own mind functions during different situations, understand ourselves with an open mind, and then control it and mend it for the betterment of ourselves and our dear ones.
The best possible way to live is to live a life of gratitude. Yes! Feeling grateful about things that are often not at all even considered as worthy and important is an essential way to alter our thinking pattern. When we allow our mind to see the good in every little thing that’s happening to us and we constantly feel thankful for those little things, slowly, our mind gets adapted to the way we think. It is a proved fact that we become that what we tell ourselves every day. It doesn’t necessary be that, other people are hurting us. The way our mind takes in what the other person uttered
determines our mind state.
Residing in the state of anger, grief, jealousy, greed and all other sickening mentality will never turn out to be a wonderful living experience here on earth. Trying to live each moment without guilt and questions, and with peace and contentment is what make life worth living.
Successes and failures; losses and gains, all are meant to be taken on a really small journey. We shouldn’t be misled by the worldly possessions and passions. Mere existence can never be called life. Be helpful, kind, true-to-yourself, childish, empathetic, nature and animal lover, environmental enthusiast, and above all, a human.
