“Study nature, love nature,
stay close to nature.
It will never fail you.”
– Frank Lloyd Wright

We are so busy in our own world that we lost connection with the nature.

We’ve distanced ourselves so much from the environment that, we even fail to recognize the long-lasting affects it would leave on human kind.

It is alright to be technically advanced but, is never okay to lose our identity in the process. When will we find time to pause and observe what we have done to ourselves in the past decade? Does the room in which we live and the office where we work, sum up the world by all means?

Never. We must climb out of this small mindedness. We cannot achieve the life’s purpose by living a life far away from ecosystem. We are leading a mechanical life. We also have a tendency to react to things only when they go over head. ‘We still have some water, so why worry about it?’
Isn’t it our common attitude towards every bigger thing in life? Aren’t we aware that
by the time we start to realize the seriousness of Nature and its elements, everything would have gone out of hands?

In another 50 years, ‘How the world would be?’, is a throbbing question that rakes up the base of my brain.

There’s no doubt that we would have achieved extremely brilliant technological feats by then. But, one Earth, this beautiful planet (once
was), that gave life to us, what will be its state? Would we still be here or would we leave to another planet?

Let us slowly visualize a beautiful natural place. Why does a greenery park filled with silent trees and grass, make our mind feel as if it is had been let off on a paradise? The dew drops on the leaflets of shrubs and herbs gently washes the dirt from our mind, cleansing it. The cool breeze that flows by… what magical powers does it possess to immediately heal
all our troubles and shower us with an unknown amount of peaceful joy and contentment? Will it be justifiable if I said that the hovering clouds give pure bliss to the heart? The rain… Is there any other feeling lesser than ecstasy that we feel when the first raindrop hits us in the face? Nature is a healer… a powerful one too.

If raping and murdering a woman is an offense by law, then, what we are doing to our environment is far worse, a crime, for which there’s no justice except returning everything that we took.

We need not be reminded of the ill-effects of nature’s fury. We do not even stand a chance when nature scorned. The only way for a peaceful and happy life for the whole mankind is to re-connect with the nature, live and
evolve in harmony with it. Such a life can only be sustainable.

What we are doing now… is nothing but writing the ill-fate of mankind with our own hands.
