“If you’re not getting it perfect,
life is still going to go around.
The world still turns.
It’s going to be OK.
Tomorrow is a new day.”
– Katy Mixon

Human mind is faced with a boon and bane situation when taken into consideration, the single most intriguing trait that it had been bestowed upon. The sixth sense. The actual intention of the gift is to make use of it for opening up our minds to know things, to learn, to adapt, to change, to give and to evolve for the better. We also have something called
consciousness that rattles our mind into a chaotic war-field when faced with life problems. We are one step away from becoming the all-powerful God, because of this sole reason.

No one can master everything in life. We are all defeated winners in at least one single aspect of our lives, be it love, family, success, knowledge, virtues or health. That is precisely what we are. We, humans, are flawed creatures or social animals in the biosphere. We sometimes (or) it is safe to assume many-a-times lead life battling within ourselves… mostly these battles are between the “brain” - which needs concrete question & answers or proofs for believing, and the “heart” – which simply feels and consciously
have an effect upon us with its instincts. It becomes hell when we face this dilemma. Our soul and body both get torn apart in this melee.

We must always know that “Change is a must as time flows by.” We must learn how to handle the various issues as we grow on. This growth
in simple terms is referred to as ‘maturity’. Growth is essential in order for us to tackle the inner-battles. One of the strange things is that, there doesn’t exist a predefined solution manual for evading or handling these
problems; because, we all are unique human beings, reared under different environments, faced with varied situations.

We must realize that being stagnated is the only one thing in the world that has all the ability to destroy us without mercy. As long as we keep on flowing like the river stream from a mountain, no obstacle can stop us from moving ahead in our life. The things that stop us from doing this are our complexity and constant throbbing inside regarding the past and also about the unknown future. The key to this lies in ‘acceptance’. Yes!

Accepting each and every aspect of our body and behaviour. This doesn’t mean that we should be like sitting ducks, by being satisfied with whatever we have now. When our inner conscience kicks in as our worst critic that is when we should use this. This will not suit those who think too much of themselves (narcissistic) and for those who are incapable of thinking in the first place.

Negative criticism by the self is a dangerous form of un-materialistic poison that is capable of killing the soul. Life is beautiful and simple. That is a fact and don’t let anyone, even your mind dictate otherwise. Want for more and more, and not be content can lead to self-destruction. So, you should work for your contentment and not for the results. There’s
nothing interesting in success without striving stories. It would become lame and weak to stand on its own or to face us with dignity.
I’ve been ridiculed my entire childhood and teenage life by others about my shortcomings in the physique and attitude. Battling with others comments proved to be difficult yet feasible for me, because I’ve been doing
it since the time I can remember. I’d either choose to ignore it or consider it in the least possible way. But, the real issue lay in my mind, the inner voice, which was giving all kinds of discouraging criticisms and comments, for which, I had not any sure shot way of getting through. Then came the life lesson.

The people around who actually knew me, and loved and deeply cared about me never uttered any of these negative comments. I slowly started believing that whatever my negative side said, was a blind lie. Never should I trust a single degrading thought that it displays. The dear ones are the ones for whom we live and it makes life worthwhile and meaningful.

Their love alone is sufficient to let us go on. Nobody’s view point (however right they may seem) should become a priority to us.

Therefore, the biggest lesson that I’ve learned from my life is that to say, “It is OKAY!” to yourself every now and then when you feel distraught and confused

Therefore, the biggest lesson that I’ve learned from my life is that to say, “It is OKAY!” to yourself every now and then when you feel distraught and confused. Thereafter whenever my mind tries to play stupid, meaningless
and ill-witted game on me, I would simply give it the finger and say, “I accept me for who I am. It is okay.” I, then realized something broke open inside (must have been the cage I was in). I discovered a whole new level of freedom from within. How many locks were broken down, I did not know. It made me realize that the mind is not meant to be caged inside. When
we set ourselves free, everything turned beautiful. Through the eyes of love, everything looks glorious, even us.
