“Life is without meaning.
You bring the meaning to it.
The meaning of life is whatever you ascribe it to be. Being alive is the meaning.”
– Joseph Campbell
“My life makes no sense to me!”
This one statement would have definitely crossed everyone’s lips at least once in their lifetime, if one does think about one’s life, of course.
This arises basically out of two reasons. Firstly, the situations that we face, and then our reaction to them. We tend to suffer a lot when life decides to send us off on a completely different direction as opposed to the one that we actually wanted or desired for. Many of our dreams fade away as dreams. Life puts us in difficult places, among difficult people to place difficult situations, to check what?
We’ll see.

When people whom we actually love, care and live for are nowhere physically near us anymore; when the field where all our craziness and passion lie has no place in the current scenario, we can feel like asking the question that has no immediate answer. What does all this mean? Does my life actually have a purpose? The bitter truth is we never have the answers for these questions. They aren’t ready-made. They have to be found.
Time is a devious player. There’s no hope in battling against time, unless we’ve decided to fight to lose. They say time heals everything. I cannot agree that it heals anything, but, I’m pretty sure it mends and reduces the severity of all that had ever happened to us.
Life is a random mixture of every emotion. It actually never makes sense because, it is not a defined question that has got a well-defined
answer. No! Life is a chaotic, haphazard medley of completely unorganized events, which would make sense only at the end. Life never goes exactly as we imagine it. Bad situations, bad places and bad people around us are just
enough to suck the very juice of life out of us.
Sometimes, we may be put to hard tests, to see how we fare in them, the indices include adapting ourselves and the ability to learn and grow.

“Where’s my life heading?” As clear the questions sound, the answer never knocked on the door easily.
“Everything that I have that holds me together as a person, starts to desert me. I lose myself and the question of life soon becomes the question of identity, in a split second. Who am I? What am I?” Once that stage has been reached, yes, definitely life has lost whatsoever little meaning it held so far. Only the questions roam around our heads no moment of peace.
No satisfying sleep or food. We question everything. The thing is that, it cannot be called ‘living.'
We aren’t born into this planet to lead a self-conscious, question-everything, lack-of-love, nowhere-to-go kind of a life. It’s just plainly worthless. Being with the loved ones, following what you believe, doing what you love, and returning good things back to the Earth, are the reasons for which we live. When the situation is not right and adverse things are happening, only time can make amends to our losses.
Belief is the only thing that can help us move on our feet. Something good will eventually show up, sometime. The power above has a plan for everyone and it doesn’t matter if we feel otherwise. Good things come true for good people.
