“The two most powerful warriors
are patience and time.”
– Leo Tolstoy

Patience is one virtue that we humans, fail miserably at upholding. We often forget that all emotions that we come across our day to day life are meant to be felt and not to be dwelt upon!

We cause ourselves trouble (not mentioning the disturbances we cause outside), when we get carried away with each emotion. Patience with
everything is the best way to release ourselves from the parasitic clutches of happiness, sadness, anger, expectations, etc.

Feelings are like the poles of Earth; we are allowed to traverse them, but, not to thrive there permanently. We are not meant to live in those extremities.

Two very important lessons with patience are as follows: One, to have patience with time, for it shall heal or at least, mend everything. Two, have patience with people, for it shall make you feel contented with the surroundings. Patience tests you in all circumstances; if you fail at it, you end up failing yourself.

Why patience is so difficult for us to keep up? It is because we all want immediate answers and solutions. We are slowly running out of the need to wait for something to reach us at the right time, to appreciate its value in full. To put it bluntly, it is human immaturity at its zenith when we think and assume that our timeline (for our wants and needs) is absolute and any other delays or misplacing in the events cannot be tolerated.

Patience is not the trait of a faint hearted soldier; it is the crown befitting the king of worlds, who has the might in him to carry the weight over his head without losing his stead.
