Part 52

"Are you sure Belle ?" My mom asked me once again as she dropped me off at the premier

"Yeah mom I'll be fine" my heart was beating rather quick, I didn't know if Aryan was coming since we hadn't talked about it for months but I was secretly really hoping for it

"If you want me to pick you up just call me darling or if anything happens at all"

"Of course, I'll just try to find mo first. She said she's wearing red" my mom opened the door for me and carefully helped me out handing me my crutches, this was probably going to be a pain in the ass but I mean I couldn't miss the Avatar the last Airbender premiere

I had chosen a light yellow dress that went until somewhere between my ankle and knee so I wouldn't trip on it with my crutches, one foot was entirely in a cast and on the other I had put a flat sandal since I wasn't going to wear high heels while walking with crutches

Mom dropped me off a bit in the back so it wouldn't be too crowded when I left the car but now my heart was skipping a beat at the idea of walking down there in my own and this suddenly felt like a terrible idea

I grabbed my phone out of my purse leaning against a wall and placing my crutch next to me

"Hello ? Belle ?"

"Aryan ! Hey, uhm so kinda random question but are you going to the premier tonight ?"

"Yeah I'm almost there why ?"

"So, my mom dropped me off in the back so i could get out of the car without all that crowd but now I'm like not so sure about this anymore" I quickly explained

"Send me your location I'll go there alright ?"

"Thank you" so I waited for him to arrive, I didn't know if it was gonna be weird since we hadn't seen each other since the kiss last week but it couldn't be too weird... it was Aryan after all.

I closed my eyes and replayed the kiss, his eyes, his lips I was craving his lips on mine again. I couldn't stop thinking about it despite my tries

"Belle" I opened my eyes and followed the voice landing on Aryan

"Aryan" he looked so good, he always did but something about him in a suit just killed me every time, he hugged me, my arms wandered around him too though they really wanted to find their way into his hair again. I closed my eyes to get those stupid thoughts out of my head

"I- you look really pretty Scobell" my cheeks flushed pink

"You don't look too bad yourself Simhadri" I grin taking my crutches into my hands

"Look you even look like a sunshine now you're so my little sunshine" my little sunshine I felt like melting right there, like my knees were about to go weak, how do I feel this way ?! I never had it this bad with Jason

We had an amazing evening, it was really fun and so great to meet everyone, mo introduced us to the cast, she looked stunning in that dress and I was really glad I went even though it was really tough at times

We hung around after the premiere a little too and it was a blast honestly, things with Aryan weren't weird at all (despite the fact that I couldn't stop simping over Aryan the whole night of course)

I laid down in my bed and closed my eyes, I tossed and turned for a while until I finally opened my eyes again seeing there was no tiredness yet

I grabbed my phone and opened it reading through a few comments when a message popped up on the top of my phone

I stared at the messages my agent had sent me, somehow I had forgotten this was my job now, that I was actually an actress and I would be working outside of Percy Jackson too

How could I possibly forget that ?!

I put my phone down next to me and looked into the darkness of my room, this seemed so surreal somehow. But it also sounded so cool

I didn't answer to the message though I didn't even open it I just took a screenshot of the messages and sent it to Walker, he was out with his friends for the weekend which is also why he didn't go to the premiere and wasn't here right now

I scrolled through TikTok a little longer until I put my music on and forced myself to get a little sleep
