"How was it like being around like real actors"

"Uh fine I guess"

"Fine ?! I bet it was like amazing"

"It was really cool" I nodded with a smile

"Wait so you're like a real actress now aren't you ?"

"Well yeah I think so"

"Have you already auditioned for other things ?" I shook my head and took a fork of salad into my mouth "why not ?"

"We just finished filming 4 days ago" I explained grabbing my water bottle, if it went on like this I wouldn't get half of my lunch down in the break "look I'm really sorry but I just want to eat in peace, filming was great, everyone was great, this salad is really great so if you could please let me eat this salad I would be really thankful" 2 girls apologised quickly and went back to their table and 2 other girls looked at each other and rolled their eyes

"Well so far so good right ?" Julia smiles, I just look at her and nod

"Sure"

"What class do you have now ?" Grace asked me

"Uhm I don't know wait let me check" I took my phone out and saw a bunch of messages but decided to just check my schedule "science" I look at the three girls who all shake their heads

"I think you're on your own then" Julia says making me sigh "I have maths that's not better"

"Maybe Walker is with you" Sarah says nodding towards a table where Walker sat with 2 of his friends, I didn't like Sarah but I'm the one who just came back so I will not be the one to take her friends away from her

"I don't think he is"

We finished up lunch and I made my way to science on my own

I got into the room and sat at a table in the front since every other seat was taken already or people were holding it free for their friends

I sat there on my own waiting for Mr. Brown to arrive and just doodling on my paper and then someone sat next to me, I looked up and it was a guy, I remember him from before I left for filming but we never really interacted with each other since he was one of the cool kids and I was one of the kids with like 3 real friends

"Hey, Jason" he introduced himself with a smile

"Belle" I smiled back slightly, still waiting if he was just sitting here or if he came to make fun of me with his friends

"I know, you're kind of a big deal" I just nodded turning back to my paper "sorry, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable" I looked back up at him again and then back to his friends, a few of them were watching us and others were just having normal conversations

"What, are you going to ask me something about filming or go and make fun of me with your friends later ?" I looked at him with a slight smile but he just frowned

"Wasn't really planning on either of that actually but I mean if you want me to-"

"No !" I interrupted him before he could finish his sentence which made him grin a bit, he had actually a really pretty face and smile

"Alright, not a fan of filming then ?" He grinned

"No, filming was great I guess but I would like to not be only reduced to my acting and I'm sick of saying the same thing over and over" I explained, talking felt really comfortable with him surprisingly

"What ? Is there more to you than the acting ?" He joked making me playfully role my eyes and shake my head

"No not at all why would you think that ?" We laughed

"No I'm just kidding you seem like a cool person, not so sure about the acting yet though"

"Oh I'm a terrible actress you're gonna see" I nodded

"Yeah I thought so" he nodded back looking at his hands before looking back at me "I mean you were really good in encanto last year so I have high hopes" I smiled with a little frown, I didn't think anyone actually payed attention to the musical

"Hello class please quiet down we have a lot to do and only so much time" mr. Brown clapped into his hands as he entered the room, then his eyes fell on me "Oh yeah, I'd like everyone to welcome back Claribel Scobell, please treat her with kindness and you please don't act your way out the assignments" he laughed looking at me and then turning his back to the class

I smiled awkwardly, not really finding the joke all that funny

"What is this like your 3rd welcome back" Jason whispered into my ear

"5th" I whisper back rolling my eyes

"How amazing bet you feel very welcome with that joke"

"Oh very"

"Jason, Claribel you can catch up later now please focus on this" Jason and I shared a look before turning back to our teacher and listening

I took a few notes for the experiment we were about to make until he finally said that we could make the experiment with a partner now, I kind of stiffened not knowing who I was going to work with, fully expecting Jason to go to his friends, who were also calling his name by now might I add but he turned to me

"Would you do me the honour of being my lab partner" he asks me, which startled me a bit at first

"Oh you're not scared I'm going to act my way out of the assignment" I said with a fully serious expression on my face

"I am a bit worried but oh well" he shrugged, then got up to get the ingredients

I also got up to help him carry all the things over but when I got back I noticed something on the paper I was writing on

Arrogant bitch, don't think you're better than us because you acted a little

I covered it up with my science book and went back to the experiment, obviously not forgetting that little note
