"Belle ? I haven't heard from you in ages. What are you calling for at 3 am ?"

"Sofia ? Can you drive to my place like, right now ?"

"What ? Why ?"

"Valeria is here"

"I thought you two aren't talking"

"We aren't. But your sister got drunk"

"What do you mean she got drunk ?! She's fifteen how did she even get to the alcohol ?!"

"I don't know, but I can not let her go home by herself right now and I really really can't walk her myself"

"Yeah no of course not, you shouldn't be walking alone at this time"

"She shouldn't either"

"I know, fuck I'm coming I'll be there in like 5"

"Can you maybe park a little further please, I have people over and I don't want this to be everyone's business right now"

"Yeah of course, I'm so sorry"

"It's okay, not your fault" she hung up and I just looked at my phone for a second before getting up and back out the window, my workout for the week was also done with this.

I wanted to call Aryan so badly in this moment, I was feeling a lot of crazy emotions that I didn't know how to deal with and it was scary, but then again this is exactly why I broke up with him. I was again just looking for someone to vent my problems out to

Sofia arrived a little later, parking her car a little down the street and walking up to us

"Are you stupid Val ? What are you doing ?"

"I'm sorry"

"She's been apologising for half an hour" I mutter helping her stand up

"Belle I'm really sorry for this inconvenience, congrats on your album coming out though, I haven't listen yet but I definitely will, I'm sure it'll sound great"

"You knew ?"

"I still follow you on insta, how could I miss this ?" She laughed a little

"Thanks and wait, can you just put this near her phone or something ? Just so she can read it tomorrow when she's ... back to being sober" I passed her a piece of paper I had written while waiting on Sofia to arrive

"Of course, I'm sorry again, for everything she's done"

"Yeah no, it's not your fault"

"Thank you for still caring enough to call me, this is why you were my favourite of her friends" I smiled at her and waited for the car to drive away before turning around and just taking a breath, I wasn't expecting to be dealing with Val tonight, especially not with a drunk Val

I grabbed my phone and climbed back into my room taking the charger and going downstairs into the living room

"You know for a minute I thought you fell asleep in your room" Grace joked as I got downstairs

"Yeah and miss the party ? Nu uh" I plugged my phone in and left it at a corner rejoining my friends

Walker tapped my shoulder and held his phone out for me to take, I frowned at him taking the phone and looking at it

Tell Belle I said congrats I like the album

I stared at the message for a bit then looked up at Walker who was grinning at me, I knew that he was hoping that this was more a break than a break up and we would get back together soon, but I was actually a mess I needed to help myself first before I really ended up fucking Aryan up too
