Part 66

"Aryan" I let go of my crutches and just hugged my Boyfriend, I knew he got me so I didn't even think twice before dropping them

"I've missed you so much Belle" he whispered into my shoulder with his arms wrapped tightly around me

"I missed you so much too" He set me down carefully after a bit and reached out to give me my crutches

"Belle I haven't seen you in ages" Neisha also carefully hugged me as Aryan went to Walker "No more pretend huh?" She whispered into my ear in the hug

"All real" i whisper back with a smile "but we gotta be careful with Walker"

"He doesn't know ?" I shake my head and look back at the two boys who are talking about something "but he does know that like you're fake dating right ?"

"Yes"

"This is gonna be fun"

Neisha drove us to Aryans, her being the only one of us to have a license yet

"It's probably so weird to fake date each other right ?" I met aryans eyes before answering Walker

"It's alright, nothing too crazy"

"Ew I'm not going to see any kissing or something right ?" Now that I could just kiss Aryan I still couldn't because of my stupid twin

"No, Walker calm down"

"It's really fun to watch Walker" Neisha said looking into the mirror to me with a grin for a second

Aryans parents welcomed us with open arms like always, they had lunch ready for us in case we were hungry and set everything up to make us feel as comfortable as we can

Darcy called me twice but I didn't pick it up since I didn't want to seem rude at the table, I texted her that I can't talk right now but she insisted that it couldn't wait

"I'm really sorry I have to take this" I excuse myself grabbing my crutches and walking out of the dining room, I sit down on the stairs and pull my phone out again calling her back to see what was so important "Darcy ? It's really not a good-"

"Belle" that's wasn't Darcy. My blood froze, with her sickness the first and only thought in my head was that something happened to her "Are you still there ?"

"Y-yes. What's going on ?"

"Something just happened to Darcy, the doctors are not quite sure what it was exactly but she is in surgery, we don't know much more but Darcy told us to call you if something happens so I just... I wanted to do that" her mother said, she sounded like she was crying and honestly I felt like it too

"But she's going to be alright right ?"

"We don't know yet"

"You- but-" I took a breath "nothing ?"

"I'm sorry darling,- wait there's a doctor coming please hang on" I heard distant talking while zoning out, this couldn't be happening, I had seen Darcy just yesterday and she looked so happy and filled with life. A little time passed and her mother still hadn't said anything to me, I was sitting there with the phone pressed to my ear just waiting to hear something "Are you still there honey ?" It was another voice, not her mother but I knew the voice it was her aunt I think

"Yes"

"They said it doesn't look good at the moment we are not sure what's happening I'm really sorry" my hands were shaky, this couldn't be happening

"Is there anything I can do ? I'm- I'll get the next flight back I'll-"

"There's no reason for that, she isn't lonely she wouldn't even know if you were here"

"But-"

"I think you should enjoy your event, have a good time for both you and Darcy" I was biting my inner cheek so bad it was hurting but I really didn't want to cry, I couldn't help the tear rolling down my face though

"Can you keep me updated please ? Anything good or bad I- and please if there's anything I can do, don't hesitate I want to help her"

"Of course sweetie, I will text you with every update we get and I fear there's not much helping we can do at the moment. Her treatment is paid for as you might know, the person who paid for it kept the card open for any upcoming costs too, we'll just have to wait now"

"Okay, thank you" I set the phone down next to me and took a shaky breath, this couldn't be happening. I felt sick to my stomach, Darcy and I might've not known each other long but we have grown so close over the past weeks I couldn't imagine going on with life without Darcy

"Belle ? I just wanted to check up you've been out here quite long" I looked up at Aryan and he got a worried frown on his face sitting down next to me  "hey what's going on ? What happened" I just shook my head not being apple to talk about it without bursting into tears, he understood that and just pulled me into a hug, I rested my head on his shoulder while he moved his hand up and down my arm slowly. We just sat there in silence until I spoke up

"Something is happening with Darcy, they don't know what though"

"She'll be alright. She's a fighter she'll get through that too" he whispered reassuringly

"The doctors said it's not looking good" we sat there a while longer just enjoying the comfort of each other before getting up and going back into the dining room

Aryan held my hand under the table the whole time while we sat there and talked brushing with his thumb over my hand slightly
