Part 109

"So you're like not gonna tell me ?"

"No" we were on the elevator, our fingers intertwined and I had no idea what we were doing or where we were going but it couldn't be that bad as long as we were together

We got on a train, got out at one stop and then just walked

"How is Neisha doing ? I haven't seen her in ages"

"She's good, college applications, their results and the preparation are kicking her butt though"

"Oh my god didn't the selections already go out ?"

"Yeah, she got into a bunch cause she's a nerd"

"You're just jealous cause she's smarter than you"

"Wow, thanks" I laughed a little leaning on his shoulder

"Does she know where she's going already ? Wait where did she get in ?"

"Yeah, she's going to Stanford and she got into like, I don't know I think 4 ivys or something"

"Woah, she is smart" he stopped, making me stop too since I was holding his hand "what ?"

"We're here" he turned me so I faced the huge arcade we were standing infront of

"Shut up"

"Last one at the dance pad pays for ice cream"

"Wait no- that's unfair" we ran inside and it was huge, like I wasn't worried about being first to find it but more to finding it in general

Aryan was there first, obviously, which he didn't forget to mention throughout the entire day until I got him a damn ice cream

It was really fun at the arcade, I hadn't been to one in ages since there were none near my hometown and I rarely had time to do anything when I was somewhere else

"Oh my god, there's a star pillow, that's you" I grinned pointing at a pillow inside one of those games where you had to grab it to win it

"Let's give it a try" It took him around 11 tries but he eventually got the pillow and handed it to me "now I have a little sun and you have a star" he leaned down and kissed me before wrapping an arm around my shoulder "alright then, I feel like the arcades getting boring. Should we move on ?" I looked at him and frowned

"Move on ?"

"Well you don't think it's over yet right ? "

"What do you mean ? This was amazing"

"It was, but it's not all" we walked for about 10 minutes, stopping in front of a restaurant, a Sushi restaurant

"Oh god, I love sushi" I grinned looking at him "are we eating sushi ?!"

"No I just wanted to show it to you. Yeah we're eating sushi"

"I love sushi"

"I know"

We ate our dinner, then got milkshakes and just walked around a park watching the sun set beautifully

"So, did you enjoy the day ?"

"Are you kidding ? It was amazing Aryan, I don't think I've had this much fun in like, forever"

"I'm glad to hear that, you deserve it"

"Did you have fun ?" He smiled at me nodding

"Yeah I really did"

"You know, sometimes I think life really sucks, like how high are the chances of getting drugged at a birthday party ?" Aryan frowned a little listening to what I was saying "and then I'm with you again and suddenly everything that sucks in my life feels less shit just by you existing"

"I'm glad I can make your life suck less" he kissed me, then pulled away and just looked at me "I love you, so much"

"I love you more"

"I love you most" I laughed a little at the tangled reference and shook my head

"Okay mother Gothel" I pulled my phone out feeling it ring in my pocket and looked at it "it's Charlie"

"Have you talked to him after the party" I sighed shaking me head

"No, I meant to but I didn't really know what to say" I looked at Aryan, then at my phone and clicked on my screen holding the phone to my ear "hey Charlie"

"Belle ? I just heard about the thing with James are you okay ?! Why didn't you tell me ?"

"I'm fine, can't remember much of the night but there isn't anything that'll affect me long term. Don't worry about it"

"What do you mean don't worry about ? I am worrying about it what happened ? I am so sorry belle"

"No, shut up, don't be it's not your fault. He offered me to taste his drink and I didn't really think about it and tasted it and I guess he put something in it. I don't remember much of it honestly, I can give the phone to Aryan if you want. He definitely knows more"

"That ba-" I heard him sigh through the phone "you're with Aryan ? Am I interrupting something ?"

"No, don't worry about it we were just taking a stroll"

"I can call later if you want"

"No wait I'm passing the phone to Aryan" I gave Aryan my phone and let him do the rest of the talking. I didn't listen to him since I wasn't all that interested in the details and would rather forget about it

I watched a small boy chase a girl in the park and smiled a little, they reminded me of Walker and I when we were younger

The boy caught the girl and took the small shovel she was holding away from her

On a bench near the playground a woman sat alone, she looked really tired, a little girl who was standing on the top of the slide called out for her and the woman put on a smile to watch her

I watched the woman a little longer, a guy with an ice cream cart thing walked by the playground and stopped to a bunch of children going up to buy ice cream, the child from the slide ran towards the mother and said something pointing at the ice cart, the woman talked and shook her head, the girl started crying and acting up and the woman looked like she wanted to cry too, the girl went to sit on the swings and the woman checked something in her purse before wiping beneath her eyes

I turned to find Aryan still deep in conversation with Charlie on my phone and quickly told him that I would be right back

I sat down next to the woman just watching the playground for a bit before turning to her

"Hey, are you okay ?" She looked a little confused

"Yes ?" The response was rather harsh, I just nodded and turned back to the playground "why would you ask that" I looked back at her and shrugged

"I saw the girl crying and walking away from you so I figured it can't hurt to ask, I'm sorry if I offended you with that" i gave her a small smile, she didn't respond immediately and just watched my face carefully

"Are you suggesting I'm a bad mother ?"

"What ? No, I would never. That isn't what I meant" she stood silent for a bit "Is she not allowed to have ice cream ?" I asked carefully, I really didn't mean to overstep anything but if I could help I really wanted to

"We just don't have that kind of money right now, she'll be fine"

"Let it be my treat" she looked at me for a second before shaking her head

"No"

"Please"

"I will not let a stranger get an ice cream for my daughter" I held out my hand to her

"I'm Belle" she looked at my hand before shaking it carefully

"Ashley"

Anyways I realised a little ago how many small storylines I wrote in here once and never continued
Anyways I fell asleep reading through this one too. I should start getting real sleep I guess)
