Part 103

"Why is it so full in here ?!" I ask having to raise my voice a bit to get through the sound of music and people talking

"What did you expect ?" Walker responded

"How are we gonna find anyone in here ?"

"Gotta fight our way through it" he took my hand and started squeezing through the groups of people everywhere, we were half an hour too late since traffic had suddenly been crazy

I didn't do much but just followed Walker blindly through the crowds apologising to people here and there for the pushing

I held onto walkers hand firmly the entire time making sure to not loose my twin in this crowd, I didn't know many of these people. I had heard of maybe 6 or 7 of them and looking at some of them I guessed these weren't only Charlie's friends

Walker finally stopped at some point making me walk right into him and mutter a quiet "ouch" I stepped on my tiptoes a bit to look over Walkers shoulder, the guy was taller than me while I was wearing high heels

He walked forward and pulled someone into a hug, who I saw was Leah, but before I could get to hug her myself I stumbled back a little as someone hugged me

I recognised the smell, the cologne immediately before even looking and wrapped my arms around him just holding him tightly to me

I leaned my head back a little to catch his face and he had a bright smile on his face as he connected our lips

I then hugged Leah after that and Dior too, I hadn't seen Dior in so long it was actually insane

"Where's Charlie ?"

"Everywhere and nowhere, he was around there last time I saw him"  Dior answered pointing in one direction

We talked there for a bit, singing along to songs that came along and enjoying our time, we figured trying to find Charlie would be difficult in the crowd and Dior said he was walking around anyways so we decided to wait to catch him

"Do you want to drink something ?" Aryan asked, leaning towards my ear from behind me

"Sure" he took my hand and led me towards the bar, it was quieter up there. I leaned against the bar with my back looking at Aryan, he let his eyes wander over me and smiled

"You are so gorgeous love"

"You look quite handsome yourself" he was wearing a black shirt with the first button unbuttoned revealing the chain around his neck, he came closer to me resting a hand on the counter beside me

My gaze went from his eyes to his lips and back to his eyes and back to his lips, he moved his face closer to mine but didn't connect our lips, instead he started talking

"So what do you want to drink" I raised my eyes to meet his "I heard they have good lemonade here" I was itching to feel his lips on mine and he knew it, he had a smug grin on his face. I raised my head to just kiss him but he leaned his head a little back, I had a small smile on my face, he still had that smug grin "Charlie said they make good mocktails" I waited to see where this was going "and this pretty girl said the summer cup mocktail is really great" his grin grew a little wider, he wanted to play ? Let's play then.

"Good to know" I pushed myself up from the counter and leaned close to his ear "I'll look around to hear my own suggestions then" I walked past him and back into the crowd of people, I didn't actually know what I was looking for and all that but two can play that game

I looked around to find a face i recognised, failing miserably at that. Everyone was in their own small groups and I kind of got lost in the crowd when I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder, I spun around and saw Charlie smiling at me

"Charlie oh my god I've been looking for you happy birthday" I pulled him into a hug

"Thank you bells, what are you doing on your own ?"

"Oh just, uh just trying to find you and annoying Aryan a little I guess" he left his arm around my shoulder after we pulled away from the hug

"Do I want to know ?"

"I'm just playing along to the game"

"Ah" he looked confused but let it go as a group of people came to him, hugging him and wishing him a happy birthday and all that

I stepped aside a little looking around to let Charlie talk with his friends but he engaged me into the conversation

"Belle these are James, Emily, summer, Luke and
Jordan"

"Hey, nice to meet you"

"Aren't you the girl playing Skylar ?"

"Oh aren't you like playing Charlie's girlfriend"

"His on screen girlfriend"

"That is what I mean" they all talked basically at the same time making me look from one to another

"Yeah, that's me" I laugh a little

"That's so cool" one of the girls, I think it was summer, said smiling

"Your dress is so cute" the other one also talked pointing at the dress

"Thank you" I couldn't exactly place their ages, they looked maybe 18-19ish I'd guess

"Charlie" he turned around, then gave me a look as to asking if I'll be alright here and I nodded after which he left to join someone else

"The snack bar is open" one of the girls called out "do you want a snack ?" I shook my head

"No thanks, we just ate dinner"

"Okay, come on" they left, leaving me, a girl and two of the boys there

One of the boys and the girl whispered something to each other before also leaving

The guy that was left looked after the two rolling his eyes at them and shaking his head before looking at me

"So, I'm James"

"Belle"

"You look really good in that dress Belle"

"Why thank you"

"It really makes your gorgeous eyes stand out" he was hitting on me. I suddenly felt really bad and had a strange feeling in my stomach "I haven't watched the Percy Jackson show yet but now knowing that you're in it I might" I smiled at him, Aryan was probably around here somewhere watching, I couldn't let him win the game. "Are you here alone ?"

"Uh, no I'm with my friends but I don't really know where they are right now"

"Loosing friends at a party, classic" he laughed "do you want to drink something ? The ice tea is great here" he held up his glass showing it to me "you can taste if you want to" he held the glass out for me, I was going to decline and find a way to leave but spotted Aryan looking at us from a little further, standing with Walker, Leah and Dior again

I looked straight into Aryans eyes a grin sneaking on my face

"Sure"
