"Alright are you ready ?" I look at the door for a second before I nod "everyone's nice Belle don't worry"
"Yeah it's fine" I smile slightly, I was quite excited for today, Aryan rings the doorbell and I instinctively grab his hand just holding it as we wait for the door, he squeezed my hand a little when his mom opened the front door for us
"Aryan you made it" she pulls him onto a hug and I let go of his hand to let him embrace his mother "oh look at you it feels like you grow more every time you leave for these"
"Moom" she smiles at him before her eyes catch me
"Claribel come here sweetheart" she pulls me into a hug too, I hug her back as I look at Aryan over her shoulder "I haven't seen you in so long you seem so much older now" I didn't have the chance to speak before she pulled me into the house and closed the door behind us, I took off my shoes and joined Aryan who had waited for me
"So far so good" he whispers into my ear, putting one of his hands on my back as we make our way towards his family
Everyone greets and welcomes Aryan first before he starts to introduce me, I just stand a little behind him awkwardly this whole time
"So everyone like I had told already, this is Belle, my girlfriend" I looked around the room with a smile, everyone said hello and smiled at me but someone caught my eye, it was a girl around Aryans age and she looked like she was holding back a laugh looking at Aryans
"So tell us how did you meet ?" One of Aryans aunts asked eagerly as soon as we sat down
"Let them arrive first mom you can bombard them with questions in 5 minutes too" the girl said to her mother
"We're just interested dear"
"Oh yeah that's fine" I say shortly "we met on set of Percy Jackson" I explain with a smile
"Ah that's where I know you from, I saw you on the show" another woman said
"Yes, yes me too"
"When did you two get together ? Aryan didn't mention you a lot" alright now how do I talk myself out of this? I looked over to Aryan
"We got together October 11th so not that long yet and we just wanted to keep it down and not make a big fuzz about it" he explained to his family, I just nodded in agreement
"Oh that's so sweet"
We kept talking for what felt like forever until the girl that spoke earlier asked Aryan and I to join her in the garden , I was really thankful to get out of there because it was starting to be too many questions with no answer and I think that they didn't really believe us which made it a lot more uncomfortable
"Aryan" she looked like she was mad or something, but her face turned into a humorous smile "I can't believe you actually went through with this" she laughed
"Well I wasn't gonna let your mother set me up Neisha" Aryan smiled in defence
"I can't believe you agreed to this" she now turned to me, I smiled slightly "also I'm sorry for how mom was in there she can get a little overexcited and then overly disappointed"
"It's fine, I've had more unhinged things said to me" I tell her truthfully "but wait so- so you know...?"
"That you're fake dating ? Yeah I know" I look at Aryan
"She's on social media bels I think she would've gotten suspicious and like she's cool she won't tell"
"No I won't tell I'm enjoying this way too much"
"Okay let's go back in then before they get more suspicious" Aryan said and looked to me
"Right ? I feel like they don't believe us" I spoke back to him
"Yeah cause you're like not acting very couple-ish" Neisha told us "You need to be like closer I don't know hold hands and stuff. You two just sit there awkwardly next to each other"
"But isn't that like... weird with all the family here ?"
"No don't worry about that girl, our family is not really weird with that. I mean he done worse around them" she went inside first leaving me and Aryan there
"So far so good huh ?" I grinned at him
"Well this is going great isn't it ?" He said back before opening the door again and gesturing for me to walk in
"Wow a gentleman"
"Anything for my girlfriend" I role my eyes at him before going back into the living room, he sits down next to me and we just listen into the conversation a little until I feel my phone ringing in my pocket, I take it out to check who's calling
"Sorry I got to take this" I say as I stand up "It's Walker" I go out of the room and into the hallways before picking up "Walker ?"
"Hey bels how's it going"
"What do you want ?"
"Nothing ?"
"Sure. It's pretty good here"
"Not weird to be aryans girlfriend ?" I can basically hear his grin through the phone
"It's really amazing actually Walker I might just try it out in real life" I say in a pretty serious tone just grinning to myself afterwards when Walker stays silent
"What ?! You're joking right ? Cause that would be like really... weird"
"Yeah I'm joking idiot. Anyways is there a different reason for you to call ?"
"Where is your IPad ? And like what's the code ?"
"Play with your own IPad Walker"
"Tanner took mine to his friends house cause they wanted to play Roblox"
"Then don't play on the IPad right now" I role my eyes "mine is in the top drawer of my desk and the code is 2103"
"Thank you you're the best" he hung up the phone, I stood there for a minute longer after he hung up before going back, I stopped a little beside the door though when I caught them talking about me
"I don't know I think she seems really sweet, polite too" one of the women said
"And she's so pretty, I think you got yourself a good one Aryan"
"Yeah she's great how could I not love her ?" How could anyone love me ?
"I don't know I think it's a little weird that you haven't mentioned her before"
"Yeah like I said before we just wanted to keep it down, you know how it is with all the media right now"
"But you also didn't mention her to us. I think there's something wrong here" I walk into the room when I hear no answer from Aryan and sit down next to him again, I grabbed his hand this time intertwining our fingers and laying our hands on my lap
"Walker says hi" I say while he looks down at our hands for a moment before nodding at me
