"I love California" i looked out an airport window and saw the sun bursting in everywhere
"Where's the Uber waiting ?"
"Uh at the entrance?"
"Which entrance ? Where at the entrance ?"
"Where is an entrance" we all stopped and just stood there trying to figure out where to go
"Wait I know this, duh I've been here a bunch of times" I say walking towards where I know the right entrance would be
"Girl just has been in California a bunch of times" I heard Sophie say jokingly
"Honestly weird way to flex" Momona agreed laughing
"It hasn't been that often" I say in my defence
"Yeah ? How often then" malia asks raising an eyebrow
"Im actuality not sure, like six times in total I think"
"So you've been to California 3 times ?"
"I don't even know, for what I can remember though. And that is not really often considering my boyfriend lives here"
"Wait Aryan lives in California ?!"
"Yeah, Ventura" (please I don't actually know where he lives 😭)
"Is that far away from LA ?"
"Not really, about an hour and a half"
"Why don't you ask him if he wants to come over one day ?" I looked at xochitl, I would absolutely love that but I wasn't going to mix my boyfriend into the girls trip
"No, this is a girls trip. I'm going to enjoy my time with you" I smile
"I mean I would have no problem with him hanging around for a day" mo shrugged
"Yeah me neither" malia agreed
"Same, don't let that be the problem" Sophie nodded
"Belle we're not gonna keep you from your boyfriend when you're literally an hour away from him"
"Yeah, we're here for 4 days Aryan being there one of them really won't hurt anyone" I considered it again
"I don't know, maybe I'll ask him later." I had a grin on my face saying that, because no matter how hard I tried to play it cool I really would love seeing Aryan
"As long as you're not gonna be making out the entire time" Malia laughed
I led the group out of the airport and we found the Uber who drove us to our hotel
Sophie, Mo and I were sharing a room and Malia and Xochitl the one across from ours
"Alright let's just meet here again in half an hour and then we'll just get out and walk wherever we want" we all agreed with Xos suggestion and split into our rooms
I placed my bags in front of my bags and just fell onto it
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and rolled onto my stomach looking at my phone swinging my feet in the air
I opened WhatsApp and clicked on starlight🌟smiling at his last text
"I give you two guesses on who she's texting soph"
"Oh tough one... well probably not Aryan"I rolled my eyes at the two who were giggling and started typing

I put my phone down and shook my head slightly, not being able to see him whenever I wanted hurt enough when in hundreds of miles away but being right there it hurt more
"He can't come" I said sighing, it wasn't like I was disappointed, well I was a little disappointed but he didn't disappoint me, just a shit situation. It's not his fault that he's busy. He takes every chance he gets to see me I have nothing to feel bad about, but then why is there a sting in my heart now that he can't come
"Why not?"
"He's too busy with school and work"
"Can't even make time for his girlfriend"
"It's not like that soph, it's not his fault. Our schedules are wild, we see each other pretty often for a long distance relationship actually I can't even complain. I saw him like two weeks ago"
"I know, I'm just kidding. You two are what I want to have when I'm older"
"Honestly" Momona opened her suitcase and looked back at us "what weather is it ? Jeans ? Skirt ? Dress ? Sweater ? Cardigan ? T-shirt ? Top ?"
"Woah calm down" I laughed a little getting up from my bed "it's pretty warm here so I would like say a dress"
"You think ?"
"I don't know, I just love dresses and will take any opportunity I get" I grin taking out a dress from my suitcase
"I think I'm gonna stick with pants and a top actually, it gets chilly in the evening"
We changed and got ready before meeting with the others again and heading outside
