Haeeun gradually slept around 3 a.m. She groggily woke up when her alarm sounded at 6 a.m.—her body was worn out, and she couldn't feel any ounce of energy crawling in her system.

She diligently showered in cold water, able to wake up more because of the temperature. She decided to just dress in a fitted blouse and semi-formal pants, then put on light makeup to mask her paling face.

Haeeun skipped breakfast when she saw her father in the dining area. She ignored him, just as they poorly treated her while she was growing up, walking directly outside and getting in the car.

Mister Noh, her personal driver, took her to a drive-thru after knowing that their young lady hadn't eaten anything. Haeeun didn't argue, as she also felt her stomach growl in hunger. Moreover, she didn't have any problem with Mister Noh, as he's one of the people who treated her nicer.

Halfway to school, they stopped at a red light near the bus stop. One glance at the shed, and she spotted two familiar figures. Haeeun was also surprised at herself, as she immediately made out the two among the crowd.

Anyway, she just ignored them and opened her bag to find her phone. Surprisingly enough, she saw the lollipop that the blonde male gave her yesterday. She only remembered that she just threw the candy inside and didn't mind it until she forgot.

Haeeun scoffed, cursing how fate plays. Did they really think that I'd breathe at them just because I found the freaking lollipop?

Haeeun huffed. Yeah, I will.

"Mister Noh, please park near the bus stop."

As the light turned green, the driver immediately maneuvered to where the young lady wanted to be.

Haeeun rolled the window down, peeking a little to call the two, who looked so stressed while waiting for the bus.

"Hey," she called, gaining some other people's attention, but also theirs.

Donghyuck and Jaemin looked at her in surprise, while she only raised a brow and motioned for them to come close.

When they did, Haeeun unlocked the door and pushed it wide open.

"Get in," she said.

"No way," Donghyuck said.

Haeeun scoffed. "You're the one who requested to change the time for the meeting, and you're going to be late? Get in."

"Is that a threat?"

"Should I leave you here? 1.. 2.."

"Thank you so much!" Jaemin interjected and hopped in, leaving his boyfriend with no choice.

Haeeun scooted over to the side, Jaemin in the center, and Donghyuck to the other side. The two greeted the driver, who also greeted them back, and then they got comfortable as the ride went smoothly.

They were seated there quietly—Haeeun on her phone, Jaemin reading handouts, and Donghyuck just looking over the window.

Haeeun glanced at the male beside him when she saw him writing in her peripheral vision. It looked amusing somehow to be able to study in a moving car and even write without getting dizzy. Haeeun and her motion sickness could never.
