The sun had barely risen, but the familiar hum of the school hallways buzzed with a mix of excitement and anxiety. Haeeun stood by her locker, her hands trembling slightly as she sorted through her books. It felt surreal to think that this was it—her senior year. The pressure was palpable, like the dense fog that clung to the morning air.

"Hey, you ready for today?" Donghyuck's voice broke through her thoughts. He leaned against the lockers, his brow slightly furrowed, an expression she had come to recognize as a mix of concern and determination.

Haeeun forced a smile, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I guess. Just a little nervous about the psychology project."

"Me too," he admitted, glancing down the hall where their classmates were gathered in small clusters, discussing their own projects and problems. "The mock trials are creeping up on us, and I feel like I'm already behind."

"Tell me about it." She let out a nervous laugh, her heart racing at the thought of the looming deadlines. "Between studying for finals and finishing up group projects, I'm not sure how we're supposed to keep it all together."

Jaemin appeared, his backpack slung over one shoulder, looking like he'd just come from a whirlwind. "Did I miss the panic meeting?" he joked, his trademark grin lighting up his face. But even he couldn't hide the slight weariness in his eyes.

"Seems like we're all in the same boat," Donghyuck replied, crossing his arms. "What's on your plate, Nana?"

"Just the usual—lab work, tests, and trying to make sense of this medical technology stuff. I swear, if I see another blood sample..." He shook his head, but there was a spark of enthusiasm in his voice. "But I'm also excited about our upcoming presentations. They're a great opportunity to show what we've learned."

"Yeah, but it feels like everything is happening all at once," Haeeun said, feeling the weight of her own projects bearing down on her. "I just want to make sure I don't let anyone down, especially with our group project."

"Speaking of which," Donghyuck said, a serious tone creeping into his voice, "we should probably decide how to divide the work. We can't afford to fall behind."

As they began to discuss their project on mental health awareness, Haeeun felt a mix of gratitude and pressure. It was comforting to have someone who understood her struggles, yet the thought of delivering a flawless presentation added to her anxiety.

The bell rang, echoing through the hall, and they hurried to their first class. The air was thick with chatter, the drama of senior year already unfolding. Rumors about college acceptances, breakups, and unexpected alliances swirled around them.

Haeeun took a seat beside Donghyuck in psychology. As the teacher launched into a lecture about the intricacies of human behavior, Haeeun's mind drifted. She thought about her future—about how important this year was. The weight of expectations pressed down on her chest, a reminder that every decision she made could impact her entire life.

Luckily, she now have her soulmates enrolled in minor psychology classes with her. Just being with them for an hour and a half keeps her sane.

"Earth to Haeeun," Donghyuck whispered, nudging her. "You good?"

"Yeah, just thinking," she replied, trying to shake off her worries. "I can't believe we're really here. It feels like we just started college."
